Luke Skywalker is the best Star Wars character in my opinion
When I first pre-ordered this, I was worried about the face accuracy and the cloak, but they turned out to be the best things about it. Best 1/12 scale Luke Skywalker in my opinion. Glad I held off on all the previous Bandai and Hasbro versions.
The more I look at him posed, the more I love it. Couldn't agree more

Best 1/12 *ROTJ* Luke Skywalker
This guy looks so good! I hope this helps rejuvenates SHF’s Star Wars line. I’ve yet to get mine but that lightsaber “swooshing” effect looks like a game changer to me! 😍
Going forward I hope every Star Wars SHF that has a lightsaber comes with that accessory. I would also love it if they did some kind of accessory pack with that accessory for all previous lightsabers but I feel that’s asking way too much 🤷🏻♂️🤣

Best 1/12 Luke such an improvement on the other Jedi Luke. For the paint smudge on the hand use acetone no risk of damage as the hand isn’t painted
Dope review; wired cloaks/capes should be wired at the sides, IMO. Either way-Looks great!
I wish the butterfly joints could come forward more so that he could hold with the lightsaber with both arms extended--but other than that it looks amazing in hand. I love posing Luke with the hood covering his eyes.

Love the videos. Just got the figure too, really cool, though the hood is unruly. --- Depending on your brand/model of DSLR, you may be able to set 'focus priority' settings to help with the focusing. For example you could tell the camera to prioritize auto-focus on the center of the frame, even if your hands on the edges are closer to the lens. That being said... you mentioned using a manual-focus lens, so that may limit what you can do. "Cine" or cinema lenses are best for videography, though a bit more expensive, but they have silent auto-focusing features. I think your exposure might be a little hot, too, and dropping exposure compensation down one notch is one way to fix (and checking about the camera's histogram). I'm a photo guy, too, but have video exp too. Happy to help if I can. Images looks nice and sharp though!

I’ve never understood why Luke chose the all black Jedi look during return of the Jedi and afterwards… Then chose more of a traditional Jedi garb in the final saga. The all black robes make me want a sith version

I can’t believe I nearly passed on this! Probably one of my favourite Figuarts…maybe even one of my favourite Star Wars figures! The face looks way better than it did in the original promo shots!
Man I'm glad I pre ordered this guy, also if you want to impove your cinematography I recommend looking for some videos about Roger Deakins, he's an amazing cinematographer you have probably seen more than once

You can use a focus ring lever for the lens for faster precise manual focusing. Try cinevate focus ring

I’m not a big fan of the cloak. It was really hard for me to get it into a pose that I liked.
I got mine a week or so ago, and as a fellow toy photographer I loved how they got him to look. The headsculpt is amazing the body has great articulation love the saber. My only gripe is the cloak although its easy to manipulate the wire inside, I'm finding it very difficult to get a decent saber swing pose without the cloak making it look like s**t. As the wire is in the hood and along the bottom hem of the cloak, if you want it to look like he's slashing with the saber while in thr cloak like in the show the fabric always gets too close to the saber to the point if it was the show he'd be on fire. Also the hood doesn't go down well enough it bunches up around his neck so he looks like he has a cape and big ass black scarf. I'm really hoping a customiser makes a better one that allows for better articulation while wearing it and has a better hood.

@D Amazing - whet are your 3 favorite SHF Star Wars figures? I love the ROTS ObiWan and Anakin. Then the ANH Stormtrooper as far as what I own. I'm also counting sculpt and articulation.
Uff those photos at the end were so gooood. Man this figure looks amazing, but I just don't have the budget to get it. Hopefully hasbro's version looks at least similar to this.

You're in for a treat. Both are excellent.
They all have the head issue the hole isn't deep enough for somereason. But not a deal breaker as long as it's snug it's stays on fine. I have one myself for a about a week now. And watch alot of reviews and it happen a consistent issue. But like I said not a problem still love the figure alot. Best lule ever in my opinion

DSLR filming for reviews is rough but I think it's worth it
I got this figure and love it! Except his right leg popped off and when I put it back on it’s super loose and won’t stay on 😭😭😭 anyone have advice to fix it? Because the figure look so good and I don’t it to be a waste

New Luke seems a tad bit too tall for the rest of the line. Face looks great though.
Since they didn’t do the two face plates and two hair styles I wish they would’ve done away with the seam on his head. It’s horrible and I’m very displeased with it. Other than that I do like the figure.
