I feel this is one of the best 6” head-sculpts I’ve seen. I have the RotJ and farm boy (ANH) versions and don’t think they look anywhere near as good, so interesting to hear you prefer the ANH version. I love this figure. The only issues I have are with the robe. Would’ve liked either a wire running down the front for better action poses, or no wire at the bottom so I can have it falling naturally. I also have some glue marks on mine. Anyway, great review👍🏻
I think it’s the expression on the new Luke’s face that throws you off.
The new one is definitely a better likeness to Mark Hamill than the older one, but the older one has a more convincing expression than the new one.
It's definitely the wide eyes. It just makes it look kinda creepy lol.
The old one is basically a young Malcolm McDowell. No idea why people used to like it so much.
It's definitely not perfect, but I can see why It was considered the "definitive" 6 inch RotJ Luke for so long.
I love your review ❤️ 💕 it's like you wanna love the figure but your totally creeped out by it due to the copy of the copy of Mark Hamill 😀 lol. You could hear that in the review. I love the figure 😍...probably the closest we will ever have to a likeness of Mark even though it's the cgi version of him...at least it looks like he did in the show...and I think 🤔 that's most collector's ever want...to look like what we see in the show movie or cartoon and to have great posability. 👍...I mainly got maefx comic figures because they look like the comics...actors are hard to do figure wise but these came pretty close and now I think 🤔 I might pickup the starwars episode 4 figures...hate the gold hair but from afar looks ok...han and Leia look good. I wish these were around when I was younger but probably wouldn't be able to get them being so pricey but at least there cheaper than hottoys and look pretty good for 6 inch scale.
Seems like they all have the loose head thing watch some reviews. And I have one myself and mine does to. Not a deal breaker as long as you get it snug it's fine. Doesn't just fall off or anything.
No, it's not the biggest deal in the world. A lot of SH figures have weird little quirks like that.
Agree the copy of the copy is kinda weird but it looks very much like the real deal. I love it.

That head seam is ridiculous. Wouldn't have taken much for them to fix it. Seems very lazy to leave it like that.
