Allulose is not only supposed to make creamier, but it stops it from turning rock hard like the erythritol will.
I made mine with Allulose and cocoa powder, plus 1 Tbsp creamy natural peanut butter. It tasted like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup! My husband doesn't care for anything keto. He was so shocked! He said he never would've guessed it was keto! The texture was smooth and creamy. Thank you for this video. And may I just say, wow! You are looking fabulous! đ„°
I heard on the internet the other day (cannot remember who) that allulose keeps the ice cream soft. She also said that using it is biscuit/cookies makes them soft instead of crisp(er).

Congrats on the weight lose Wes âlooking goodâ. I love to make my mason jar ice cream with allulose and I love it. Mine is soft right out of the freezer normally. I do not shack it for 5 min. I usually use my hand mixer to blend everything then freeze it in the mason jar. It is the best keto ice cream I have ever eaten.
Do you think I could use my emulsifier to mix it in the jar and not have to shake it?

I don't shake for 5 minutes either. A minute max. đ And allulose is a must to not have to thaw for 30 minutes every time.
Good to know the blueberry turned out. Opens a world of possibilities for homemade ice cream (for those of us who don't like chocolate).
Vanilla is easy to make, also, and adding a little instant coffee makes it wonderful.

I laughed at myself - as you were doing your shake dance, I found myself âsolidarity shakingâ my phone right along with you (but not as vigorously, of course!). đđ Iâm not an ice cream fan (once, maybe twice a year at most does it for me), but youâve convinced me and I have everything on hand, so why not? Also seems like an excellent way to use up cream when Iâve purchased over optimistically, thinking Iâm going to make all the things and then donât. Beats pouring cream down the drain and itâs ice cream, so it definitely stores in the freezer!!
People say Allulose is closest to sugar. It kid of reacts like sugar when heated and seems to be the best alternative out there imo.

I actually like to use my hand held mini blender instead of all the shaking. They turn out great.

Yes, I too use my hand held mixer. (STOP short of whipping!) I also add 1/8 teaspoon of Xanthan Gum & 1.5 TBLS Cacao to 2 cups cream 4 TBLS Allulose & 1 teaspoon of instant expresso. You can also add Black Cocoa powder if you're a chocoholic!
@@HighfalutinLowCarb I also use 1 scoop of a collagen peptides powder..most times chocolate that adds to it and I think it tastes like a Wendyâs Frosty. All I know is it is g-o-o-d! đđ

Iâve made keto butter pecan with xylitol or allulose/monk fruit SO GOOD! I just let xylitol crystals dissolve in cream for an hour+ prior to making the batch đ€ Love your channel!

I can't remember whose recipe it was (I can picture her face from the youtube video), but I saw a recipe that added a small amount of a highly distilled alcohol, such as vodka, in order to improve the texture. I guess it serves as a sort of antifreeze agent to help it stay more like whipped cream and less like frozen milk.
