When he took over I said that if there's any coach who can fix Spurs, it's Conte, but if there's any club which can break Conte, it's surely Spurs. And here we are...

He eats in the same canteen as the squad and staff; he's constantly hovering around staff and player facilities; he's always interfering with player-manager relationships; he's constantly intruding on player management. Agree, Spurs have broken the man. Was he duped by Spurs; did they really tell him they would back him in the transfer market? Did Conte know about the debt, a quick google should have alerted him to the difficult financial situation:
Net debt of £706m (2020: £605m) with average interest rate of 2.7% and repayment terms extended to 2051, extending the average term of debt to over 22 years.
Tottenham have announced pre-tax losses of £80.2million for the financial year ending June 2021
How can they back him in the market? or perhaps' they had different ideas on what "backing in the market" means?
How can they finance a summer spending spree? where will the money come from? Which top player really wants to sign for Spurs?

    Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Eriksen, Dembele
The spine of that 2019 team - was never replaced.
That is crux of the matter here.
Conte won’t rebuild. I can see him leaving soon.
Spurs will take years to recover from this.
Arsenal are guaranteed to finish 4th this season.
Spurs should accept mid table finishes and try rebuilding with a progressive manager for next 3-4 years.

Very clever from Conte, he has basically given the club an ultimatum, either improve and follow my lead or I'm off, he is both accepting he is the manager whilst also distancing himself from the quality of player he has to work with. I can't see him staying, he is too proud a man to just keep hanging on until he is pushed, he deserves a better standard of player, and to be honest, a better club than Spurs are right now!

Arsenal is actually on their way back to being where they were ~ 6-7 years ago. Tottenham only briefly flirted with greatness (during Pochetino era) and never won anything with it. Utd are the odd one. One season they are getting second, and next season they struggling to get into the top 4, nowhere near city and Liverpool levels.

Can’t believe Spurs fans are actually praising Conte..I’ve never seen this before ever in football! A manager sacking a club? Throughout his stay, he keeps distancing himself from Spurs in press conferences and displays a weak, defeatist mentality …I get if you’re upset with the board etc…but nobody should be bigger than your club, even if they’re the best ever player/manager..nobody! The disrespect he puts on Spurs is astounding ! I’m a gooner who came for a laugh, but this is actually embarrassing.
