When I was with the narcissist over 15 years ago, I was provoked and I reacted which she used against me. A narcissist will provoke, get your reactions and use them against you.

Oh this describes today's events to a tee.
That was one of the first tactics I experienced. It was slow over time of the them saying rude,disrespectful,derogatory comments when nobody else was around.I ignored them for sometime until I did go off on them and of course it was my fault! Thank you Elizabeth!💜
And absolutely ALWAYS when no one else is around ! And they’re ridiculously nice to others , so that if you say anything about their behavior towards you, the others look at you like you’re touchy or you’re the problem . Thankfully I recognize this behavior now, don’t react and get away from them ! They’re HORRIBLE !
The days of any narc testing/trying/annoying/intimidating me are over.😮
I take responsibility for my own mistakes, no one elses mistakes. I was raised by a narc and have met many, they are no longer in my present, and will never be again.
Look to someone else to be your scapegoat, im not available.

That's what I experience with my narcissistic father and his flying monkeys I have reactive abuse.
I just ask them: Is there a need for this ? Otherwise I rather not..
