I have all these games they are all fun but I remember as a kid 95 was my favorite I loved it so much this 95 game is a stand alone as in 90 93 94 are all the same in ways as is 96 97 98 but 95 was the only one that was different if anyone knows what I mean love NHL 95

This is one of my go to NHL games for the Genesis.
This on was a great stand alone I loved this one as a kid played it so much 90 93 94 were all the same in a way and 96 97 98 were too but 95 was its own if you know what I mean I still have them all and play them at times to this day on my sega HD love it

We had NHL Hockey ,NHLPA Hockey 93,NHL 94 ,NHL 95,NHL 96,NHL 97 ,NHL 98 well and there were all starts and a couple spin offs but I was thinking we only talking about 94 95 96 and on like as in EA sports its in the game 😁🤣😃

God I miss this game. I remember being in playoffs in little league my last summer before high school and all I was thinking about was can’t wait to get home and play this. First nhl I had was 93. besides that one I think this was the best.

First off if you loved this game like I do easiest way to score. Go behind the goal and instead of shooting it pass it into the goal works every time.

96 gameplay crushes this. 95 the players are too agile. And the football hitting sound effects are ridiculous.

Hot take: 95 was better than 94. Create a player, the actual award ceremony at the end of the year...the perfected one timer with a buddy (man we used to SNIPE on breakaways). I never understand why NHL 95 doesn't get the same love when it improves on what NHL 94 did.

I had '94 but I remember borrowing '95 from a friend and marvelling at the fact you could actually trade players.

If this game had fighting it would have been incredible. Thats why i say 96 is better than 94 or 95.

It's true I have them all to this day and yes if 95 had fighting would easy be the best but to me 95 96 are the best it is hard to not rank 95 the best all because of 0 fighting because it was that good so if your a big fan of fighting yeah then I guess its not the best but if its pure fun and checking and game play its 95

The in-game graphics and sound effects were such a huge step back in 95. Everything seems a lot more cartoonish. There's a reason why they overhauled it just one year later. Seems like a lot of sacrifices were made to get the game running exactly the same on SNES and Genesis. It's a shame.
Back when sports games were not so politically correct.
