Sears was giving this game away for like $5 bucks. I never watched enough hockey to love it. Popped this game in the sega cd. Took the offsides off, and fell in love with this game! This game made me love and appreciate the sport of hockey!❤️

I think the 93 and 94 version was the best. The 95 graphics were different,I didn't like them
In my view, NHL '93 and '94 were the pinnacle of 90s hockey games, and as for the latter, it remains an irreplaceable game that captured the essence of that era and stands beside the greatest hockey games of all time.
I still love this game even to this day but god this Stanley cup celebration is still awful and always bothered me !
I hope Scott LaChance got paid for his image being used in the intro credits.

I don't think people care, considering that the game is still hugely popular, nearly 30 years removed from its release.
Had to play the SNES version if you wanted accurate jersey designs. Sega was recycling code from NHL ‘92.
