    2. Before selecting “Repair your Computer”, make sure to select the proper date, time, and language.
    3. Choose the Windows installation device -C:\ and then click Next.
    4. As the system recovery box comes up, choose Command Prompt and type in “chkdsk C:f”.
    In case your Windows is not installed, you must replace the letter ‘C’ with the first letter of the drive.

    If anyone in this comment section still needs help, I have the same issue and I couldn’t boot from usb for some reason so the only fix to this is going UEFI setting which is the only thing it lets you boot into from the list of options after doing that go to boot settings and change the boot setting from UEFI to legacy and then you should see your usb drive (usb has to be connected before hand) in the list down below along with your hard drive/ssd now go down to the list and move the usb to the top of the list and then exit and save changes now it should boot 👍

    Hey, I also have this Error Code 0xc00000f. But my System wont boot from any USB I transformed into a recovery tool with the MediaCreationTool. I am frustrated. Any Suggestions? The USB is installed correctly. In the Bios Secure boot control is disabled´, boot csm is Enabled, and the UEFI/BIOS Boot Mode is on Legacy. :(

    • @RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware
      @RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware  Před rokem

      Hi there, thank you for your question! Check the boot order and ensure that the USB recovery drive is listed as the first boot device in the BIOS settings. You may also want to try a different USB port or a different USB drive to see if that resolves the issue. If the Media Creation Tool is not working, try using a different tool to create the recovery drive, such as Rufus or UNetbootin. It's possible that there is a hardware issue with your computer preventing it from booting from the USB recovery drive, in which case you may need to take your computer to a professional technician for repair. Lastly, changing the BIOS settings to legacy boot mode may be causing issues, so you may want to try changing the boot mode back to UEFI and disabling legacy boot options to see if that helps.

    I Had same issue all youtubers give the same solution but to no avail none of them work. I have fixed mine but before i can tell you how i fixed i want to tell you why its broken. Basically the pc is booting from a corrupted folder or folder missing Key files for booting up. My pc was installing windows when my laptop shut down mid installation and then after rebooting this error message came up. Basically it was booting from the pc, since my laptop no longer had these files because the installation was not finished, it couldn't switch on. After some fiddling I managed to check the bios boot step up. So the best thing is to find the locations of the boot start up settings should be in bios i cant tell you where because its different for different laptop/pc makes. Then making sure the usb boot up is enabled after that go to boot menu and select the usb (also if it cant be found try other usb ports because not all work. Fairly sure boot up is done via usb #1 if you don't know where that is just try all of them.) and it will restart once that is done you should have the window installation screen pop up. If you don't wanna reinstall windows, you will have too but you can make it so that it keeps all your files and only reinstalls windows. So that's it I hope this was helpful. I know i am bad at explaining but i did my best.

    Eh, I would be happy, if my Windows 10 Setup would start like that and offer such a choice of functions.
    For me, the following text always and always shows:
    Your PC / Device needs to be repared
    A required device is not corrected or cannot be accessed
    Error code 0x000000f
    Not even Bios will start when the dell button is pressed
    Question for you:
    What trick will Windows Setup or Bios open if it constantly shows you "Your PC / Device needs to be repared" after 500 attempts?
    Thanks for the reply.

    • @RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware
      @RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware  Před rokem +1

      Hi there, thank you for your question! If you accidentally marked a partition as active while trying to update from Windows 8 to 8.1 and your PC crashed, you can try to fix the issue by booting from a Windows installation media and using Diskpart to set the correct partition as active. First, boot from a Windows installation media and choose "Repair your computer" > "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Command Prompt". Then, use Diskpart to check the partitions and make a note of the volume number of the correct partition that should be active. Set the correct partition as active by typing "select volume X" and then "active". Reboot your computer and it should now boot normally. If you're not comfortable with using the Command Prompt, it's best to take your computer to a professional for repair.

      Hi there, thank you for your question! Error code 0xc00000f indicates a problem with the boot configuration of your Windows system. The missing or corrupted file in this case, "Windows\System32\winload.exe," is critical for the OS to start successfully. To address this, you can try using Automatic Repair by booting from the Windows installation media, or manually rebuild the BCD by accessing Command Prompt through the installation media and running the "bootrec" commands. Additionally, you can check for hard drive errors using "chkdsk" and scan for system file corruption using "sfc /scannow." If these methods fail, consider performing a system restore to a previous working state, but remember to back up your data beforehand.

    This might help but I just spammed shift and f8 when I opened my pc and it showed me the hard drives and ssd's to boot my pc. I picked the one that contain my PC's program files and such and it booted again.
    (My bios is ASUS ROG)

      Hi there, thank you for your question! Typically this error indicates a problem with the Windows bootloader. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue: First, restart your computer to see if it resolves the problem. Next, ensure that the RAM modules are securely and correctly inserted into their slots. If the issue persists, you can use the Startup Repair feature from a Windows installation media to attempt fixing any boot-related problems. Another step you can take is to check for disk errors using the Command Prompt in the Windows Recovery Environment.

      Hi there, thank you for your question! You can try using the built-in tools like Automatic Repair or Windows Recovery Environment to diagnose and repair the issue, running commands in Command Prompt to fix boot configuration, checking for disk errors with "chkdsk," or performing a Windows refresh or reset if necessary
