I'm already locked in to my Moza setup, but I love to see other companies being competitive in the space. Buying a 12NM wheel for $550 is not bad at all.

these feels are probably best option for desk users since these take so little space when motor is in the wheel itself

@@daddyfoosa7712 my brother bolted his fanatec podium dd2 which as 25nm to his desk. It shakes the monitors a bit but is also a 300lb solid wood desk.
@@daddyfoosa7712 With a rigid desk, its totally doable, i used my Moza R12 on my desk for a few weeks before getting a profile rig with minimal flex and screen bounce. Although that was a solid oak table with beefy metal legs, would not want to use it on an IKEA table.

Things are really cooking rn. I'm suprised Cammus doesn't add fins to the rotor for semi-active cooling.
Looking at the button box as well, I wouldn't be suprised if they sell a formula/GT/Prototype rim sometime soon.

I’m so glad I haven’t got my order yet from moza for that r3 bundle in 3 months. Because this isn’t changing my mind, unless it won’t come until the end of April then I have to go to fanatec

i disagree, i thought that too, but when you actually get in in your hands and see it in person , its actually remarkably high quality (paddles excluded). I'd choose a C5 over whatever the heck Turtle Beach released recently.
I love the competition on this section, im looking, ether for a CSL DD Boost Kit or Moza R9 but this offering seems interesting, i have to take a look.

Do you know that you can get the "boost kit" which is literally just a 180w 7.5a charger with a male 4pin ATX connector, for like 30-40$? Fanatec has some QC issues though. Plastic wheel adapters and connectors made out of cheese.

not in the market for a rim as i just got a simagic alpha mini, but massive shoutout for xt60 DC connection rather than an annoying barrel.

I do not have much experience with sim racing wheels outside of my now 2.5 year old t300 gt, so i don't know what a high end wheel feels like, so, at least for me, that would be an interesting comparison between the 2.
I know the c12 will probably destroy the t300 rs gt in almost every metric, but i am interested in seeing just by how much will it win

Get a Moza adapter and you can use a QR with that wheelbase

The only thing keeping me from buying one is the lack of wheel customization, if you could change to a gt style wheel or something that would be nice
Despite of some minor flaws C12 may have, I think it's the best mid range badget option for beginners and for already sim racers.
Especially if you get C12 with LC100 pedals, I believe you'll have a great combo for a long time sim racing.
As I said before, the blue thumb encoders were made to be used in a certain way. Rotate them with the thumbs and push them with the index fingers.
Otherwise you can use some wheel spacers and gain a bit of space in order to push them with your thumbs properly.

Currently i have a logitech g920 and im looking to upgrade. I want to either get the fantec 8nm bundle or save up a bit and get the cammus c12 which one would be more worth it ?
Both are great options, if you want to be involved with Fanatec Ecosystem, go for Fanatec, but if you want a more simplistic system without all that QR, Boost kit, load cell stuff then get the Cammus, take note that Fanatec is having some problems with Order Delivery, Logistics and RMA Service right now.
The Fanatec is the far better buy with a full ecosystem and better FFB.

Other mid-range offerings like the CSL DD, Moza R9/12, Simagic Alpha Mini in my opinion offer more refined detail but do cost a bit more than this.

Sadly no DD wheels under $400. Min is around $6-700 with pedals.
just bought my first wheel. a Logitech MOMO. it's great for it's age (made in 2006!).
would love a review on the MOMO, it's really a good wheel for the price.

@@notamorningdragon once you try some other wheels you’ll see what we mean. The momo is maybe 1Nm of torque if that, and dead pedals. Thats why it’s more for a child.

Unlimited I believe, as is the case with most direct drive systems

UUUUUUGGG!! I really like this companies wheels, but HATE, HATE, HATE their horrible shipping practices. They add around $100 to any wheel sell, and that destroys the value. I want this one, like really WANT it, but I need to see them fix their shipping "tax" before I jump on it. As always, fantastic review Oscar...maybe you could perhaps get a shipping deal out of 'em....I know, I know, wishful thinking 🤣

Try resellers in your country of residence, the UK has GT Omega and Abruzzi for example.
@@OCRacingAll you really need to do to see this is try ordering one from their site and put United States into the shipping box....then be prepared for the shell shock, lol. It really does suck that they do this.

There really is no affordable budget set ups, Rig, PC, Monitor, plus equipment $1500 min.
Yeeeaaahhh I'll keep my R12 all day long Moza customer service is TOP NOTCH it puts Fanatec Customer service to absolute shame and it's made really well I broke my USB port and didn't Even have to flat out ask for parts they just sent them unasked even I was so shocked they didn't fight me on getting it fixed Moza rocks I'll probably be a Moza customer for life after that experience so now I got my main Moza R12 Rig in the basement and a R5 rig in my bedroom using a Brook Ras1ution 2 it's awesome just waiting for true console support and they are always innovative improving there products it's awesome Moza will be one of the sim racing leaders In The near future just you watch

Nothing is over if they can't make'em. Availability to the general public instead of CZcamsrs matters. It's like the Fanatec CSL and Moza R3 are unicorns too.

No. The R3 has not been available to the general public except to CZcamsrs.

i understand where cammus is coming from but imo not being able to change the wheel is a huge turnoff
Looks like the bolt sticking out was a huge oversight - if they fix this then you should be able to interchange rims, albeit not easily.

Agreed, if you're in the Simagic ecosystem there would be no reason to look at this - the C12 is more geared towards people upgrading to direct-drive wheels for the first time.
MOZA is the best quality/performance/value offering out there, right now.🔥The only downside can be the quite basic pedals, but you could always mix n match with thrustmaster T-LCM or better.
Errr no. The internal components are low quality compared to competition at similar price. Example moza KS vs simagic GT Neo wheel. Everything from buttons, dials, rigidity, software, etc is better with the GT Neo.

Cammus finally made a respectable wheelbase/steering wheel, although they will need a lot more to dethrone Simagic, who has been the final nail in the coffin for Fanatec/Moza.
