(My 2012 or 2013 MacBook Pro 13”, with i7, is non-responsive. No lights or fan sounds. The logic board has some white oxidation, which was removed with a touch of alcohol and compressed air).
Is the problem likely only the logic board?

Yes, the 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017 logic boards are all interchangeable.
@@BrueComputing this doesn't seem right. Wouldn't mounting holes, standoffs, and port locations differ between those models?

@@BrueComputing the new logic board I got doesn't have a slot open for the touch pad. You say it's not required, will everything still work without it plugged in?
@@aprilestrella5766 If you don't plug in the touchpad then obviously it won't work.
@@BrueComputing I mean with turning it on, the power, the start up screen.. I know the touch won't work
