Thanks for bringing attention to paolo's excellent AMS2CM, which can also be used to manage properly-formatted zipped, custom-livery sets as well as the ever-increasing car and track mods available for AMS2. In other words, AMS2CM is quickly becoming an idiot-proof, bullet-proof method for handling all AMS2 mods. Alas, poor JSGME, I knew him well....

Will, I don't know if you have ADHD but the way you explained this was perfect for my ADHD self to understand. It's the best explanation so far. Just downloaded and installed the new Indy Car mod. CM is an excellent mod too. Good work

Im trying to download the IR-18 mod, but nothing happens when i double click the cm file.
Hey mate or someone who made it work. I’ve mirrored your directions, but the when clicking on the exe file ( the exe file is an actual image of AMS2 for me) it opens for a second and force closes. I’ve never had Mods installed before.

If you check the video description you should find a link to the .net6 framework file. This should fix the issue

I had no ideas there were mods for AMS2. On an unrelated topic you should do a community race event open to your viewers. Would be cool to do a VR only race.
You’ll be seeing a lot more soon as the Dev’s should be making it easier to install them :)
I have plans for a community setup this year but need to make sure I have the dedicated time to do it. I’m a little busy outside YT at the mo but once things calm down I will get it rolling :)

If you’re on the mobile app or desktop there should be a little gear cog ⚙️ in the top right corner, go to that and then go to playback speed 😀

Mods killed AMS1 multiplayer stone dead.....are we travelling in a similar direction with AMS2 mods?

Wont work. Does not show any mods. Everything in correct path. WTF?
Most of my mods work, however, after installing KAOS F1 1996, FIA GT1 car set and FIA GT1 AI driver set, the game crashes. Any idea? Indy car mod works great!
I’m not sure but I’d recommend going to steam, right click on automobilista 2, go to properties, then installed data and then “verify integrity of game files” once you done that re-install the mods by opening the Content Manager
Is there any "open world" mod for AMS2? Where I can drive not only track but different road crossings, like a small town where I can drive on my own?
Sadly not but the only option I see is California Highway which is nice to cruise along

Do the mods now support custom sounds or are they still using the shitty default car engine sound?

I don't have a directory in C: labeled "Steam", or steam apps. Am I supposed to create that or should Steam have automatically created one when I installed it?
Check program files (x86) for steam location. That's the normal location for install
@@WillOnWheels I found it. I just had to follow the trail. I don't have a shortcut yet to get to that file.
for cracked users just change the path from steam to any other like D:Automobilista 2

You can use the CZcams settings on the video to slow down playback :) I do try but sometimes it’s hard for me and not naturally to talk slower
I gave up.
For car mods...It dont work. I click on AMSCM And the screen just blink 1 time. Whats the problem here?
Which car mods are you using? Are you activating the mods via AMS2CM.exe ?

I've followed the instructions to a tee. I still can't get it to work. What am I doing wrong . Pc is brand new so ams2 is fresh installation. Can someone help. I really want to drive the new Indycar
Does.7 zip work automatically in windows 11?
When installing you have to make sure it takes priory over the windows version by ticking the .zip .rar etc. you can also right click, select more options at the bottom and then select 7.zip
