Back with an English language video after quite a bit, today I showcase how to configure ANY Driving Camera View you want to drive with, in Automobilista 2!

I map these to the d-pad on my wheels so I can adjust up / down / forward / back; I don't use tilt so much but it's there as needed; this personalisation is great in my opinion & adds another dimension to the immersion of this already excellent sim. Great content :)

It's very fun to drive with free-cam, specialy improve the perimetral vision and inmersion (thank's to the aproximation to tv broadcast angles). And it's NOT an arcade way to play a sim, I like play even with 3rd person cam and I think it's a much more accurate aproxximation to a real life driving expierence becose of deph of view and perimetral vision.
A nice way to adjust your view in whatever camera mode you like to race in, personally for me its cockpit mode. I will give this a go and see if i can refine my view. Well done fella

You're welcome! And yes, it is indeed a little bit strange, that Reiza seems somehow to "hide" those hot keys. Really weird, especially taking in consideration how good and helpful their are..
How r u getting on board camera?? It's always cockpit camera only for me.
Just toggle to the "Roof Cam", then go from there with my advices from the video to adjust your driving view 😉😉🏎🏎!
What key do I press to change cam? I can't find it in settings
In the game go to controller settings and there to configuration/ assignements etc., there you should see the setting for the driving cam view. There you can also set up the key to personal preference.

In the free cam mode, press the "5" key on the num pad.
how do you get that detailed lap info overlay?
You have to choose the HUD level to "full" in the options menue.

Good question, I don't know, yet!
Nice now how do I reset it to default
Press 5 within the Number Pad. To go way back to default I think you should go out of the session and then get back in again.
No way I can drive like that. Does it work in replay? That is the only use I see for this feature. But I do race on VR.
I've just tested it out: it works in replay! So, good news, from there as well 😊!
Of course it's not that interesting, for VR runners.
