Automobilista 2 once again puts you in the driving seat of an advanced and diverse racing simulator - now with incredible graphical quality, high-profile cars and tracks, advanced dynamic track condition system and VR support.
Very useful video. So much easier with CM installing mods in AMS2. Maybe one thing to mention is that the latest CM version generates the bootfiles needed automatically so we don’t need to manually install these now.
CM is a game changer for so many. I didn’t mention it as I didn’t want to confuse new installers with it and wanted to show the files downloaded are the only ones needed to enjoy it :)
Very nice. CM is so much better than the JSME mess.
Omg, thank you for this video!! I can;t believe these modded cars feel and drive better than the original AMS2 content haha. Quite embarassing but i'm not complaining!
Haha you’re welcome :)
Excellent mods, loving them. Thanks
Thanks for this - will give it a go.
You’re welcome Jarrod :)
Great guide. Thank you
I got everything installed correctly, but I am missing engine sounds on some cars
Hello family!!, I have downloaded today the thunderflash info and now its different, is not the same that you show us.... there is no enable folder.... could you please update the information.... thanks and how do i need to install the indycar 2.0 with this content manager, same way than with thunderflash?. thanks.
So, that's it? Put the mods you want to install into the "enabled" folder, open the Content Manager application and that's it? No more editing vehiclelist and driveline text files? 😮
Yup that’s it as of now, Reiza maybe change the process about bootifles to make it even easier sooner
I do all the steps, and when I run the content manager it tells me that it can't find the game directory
One i hated with pc2 was inconsistent ffb from car to car ....Ams 2 though i dont change any settings at all ...Is this the case with Thunderflash mods Will please..
I wanna install but dont want to muck with the ffb gain all the time
The cars from ThunderFlash feel much better in AMS2 then PC2 imo. I haven’t fiddled with any FFB’s and feel they all handle very well. Each car has its own feel and feels unique. You’ll enjoy all of them 😀
the FFB in the most cars in this mod feels very very strange
Strange in what way Otis? Compared to other ams2 cars or compared to the PC2 versions?
Hi, do you know how to install Indycar 2023 mods with this? Cant find any tutorial.
Hi mate sorry for the late replay, I believe the Indy car mod has a bootfiles which you can add into the CM
@@WillOnWheels thnx mate done it
Thanks for this mate, really useful & helped me out👍
You’re very welcome, glad to help :)
This app is not working. When I click on it it does nothing
Check my video description mate, you’ll find a link to .net6 frameworks for windows. It should fix the problem
Can the mods of thunderflash work with the Project cars modding team bootfiles?
CM create bootfile by itself (even after ams2 update) you don't need any bootfiles anymore.
With CM AMS2 has become a great game 😁👌
This might just remove AC from my hard drive!!
none of this is valid now
Really appreciate you sharing this. Works great and much easier than OVGME!
hello and great helpful video. I followed all the steps and all cars work great, but none of the tracks from Project cars modding team are working ( not even showing up ). @ the end of AMS2CM install, im getting this message. ERROR : could not find file F: \steam\steamapps\common\Automoblista 2\Pakfiles\PHYSICSPERSISTENT. bff
Am i missing something from the down loads.
cheers for any help
Hi sorry i missed this message. Did you download the Tree pack for the project cars 2 tracks? If not try adding those, if it still fails, verify game integrity via steam and then try to reinstall the mods again.
I have followed your instructions but the tool warns me that there are bootfiles installed by another tool and they must be deleted. Do you know where those files are?
Did you previously use JSGME to add mods? If so, remove the folder and then go to steam and verify the game cache. Then try the process again. Let me know how you get on 👍
@@WillOnWheels All mods installed successfully, it seems that verifying the game cache did the trick. Thanks a lot.
Excellent, glad it’s working for you :)
