  • Hi all,
All product links are further down 😊 ⬇️
Here's a video of how to create some stunning Turquoise inspired jewelry pieces, I think this would work with regular resin too but you will need to experiment. I made a mistake when showing the version I used alcohol instead of Acetone, I said alcohol inks, I meant Isopropanol alcohol. This video was inspired by a Nail Art channel called manicureZone on the other big video platform that I can't mention due to the algorithms 😂😂😂

As a person who wears lots of turquoise from the Southwest, while not spot on Daniel, it looks somewhat like "stabilized" turquoise, which only means that they have crushed it up and reconstituted the actual stone. I think that it is a fair "faux" turquoise and kudos to you my friend for having the fun of experimenting and coming off well. Great trial!!!

Thank you Daniel. I would like to say if you are using acetone make sure you clean any of it up right away because acetone eats through everything except metal even the safer polish removers with acetone will cause damage it just may take longer than the industrial strength.. I know because i worked with the product as a license nail tech a lot. It will eat through wood, paper, rubber, and silicone. I am not sure if it will continue to eat through the resin or if the curing it will stop the process. Acetone is what is used to take off acrylic nails that is how strong it is.

@@daniel..cooper yeah, that’s why you use an empty bottle! I used up my small bottle and the. When it was empty, I cleaned it out… I would never mix uv resins from one bottle to another one… not even the same brand! Right now, I have 2 100g bottles of let's resin uv resin and a bottle of their High Viscosity UV resin… one of the 100g bottles has the SAME viscosity as their high viscosity and the other 100g bottle is thinner…l those two 100g bottles obviously came from different batches …

For future reference, turquoise has more blue in it than it does green… it could be my monitor, but I don’t think so… these turned out really pretty though :) I love your experimenting…

@@daniel..cooper yep, that you did… I was just helping you out with the color mixing… my hubby is an artist and he has taught me the colour wheel… he gets on me when I don’t get my colors mixed right lol… turquoise is one of my favorites and I can spot the differences in them pretty easily ….
