I play OOB rules, and I usually can take Moscow by the end of turn 4 using heavy pressure from the Centrals. The Ottomans are usually under heavy pressure by then, but should be alright if they get fed Romania and Sevastopol, after taking Bulgaria. Austria gets Ukraine, Moscow, and Tartarstan, with Germany taking the rest of Russia. After that Germany can start pushing back in the western front and Austria can either hold Italy back or crush them, depending on how well the Ottomans are doing. (No Russian Revolution).

+Al Mol Yes with no changes. Have Austria concentrate in galicia from bohemia and vienna, along with attacking venice from trieste and tyrolia, and serbia from budapest. I leave maybe 2-3 infantry in trieste moved from budapest/ vienna. have germany send everything into poland t1, with austria slamming poland with 1 plane and everything from galicia t2, germany should break the russians by the end of t2. Once poland is broken austria moves into ukraine and germany into belarus/livonia. T4 Moscow.
Moscow is 4 steps from Berlin and 3 steps from Vienna. Moscow is nearer than Paris and Rome is closer to USA than Vienna (American geography?). If the Central powers go for Russia they can take it, even if I'd not plan to have it secured by turn 4. @@varovaro1967
German can afford, and arguable should, buy atleast battleship a turn. It throttles brittain helping France. I highly support a Kriegsmarine in a central powers game.
My first game and only game (sadly) of aa 1914 resulted in an CP victory when me and My friend played. I was the CP and it was oob rules. I did an all out attack strat on russia but it ended up with the ottomans taking all of russia Exept for livonia and poland that germany took (They basicly just walked in in all the Mayor battles and joinked first romania then Ukraine and later moscow. And in the end They had around 56-62 ipc (cant remember) From all of russia, basicly all of africa, the middleast (persia, afghan, arabia + india) and southern france (marsaille, bordeaux and brest) The allies player just started bunkering up in Paris and had like 30 inf, 20 artillery, and 5 planes (I brought down that stack to like 15 inf 15 artillery and 2 planes) until i thought Fuck that and bought 20 inf, 10 transports and just invaded London with germany (i had a production of 60 and it took me two turns) and i won. (Btw rome had fallen, i had navelblockaded brittan with germany and USA with ottomans and landed a Naval invasion of Wales)
