â@@jahdorose8659 the character most effected by this is Kai they bring back almost everybody from MK4 but leave Kai who's liu kangs protege they was looking for the "next liu kang heroes journey" in all these other wack ass characters like the pi Mei knockoff Sujinko, wack ass edianian demigod Taven sibling rivalry with Daegon who's secret relatives to Rain, then the offspring of Johnny cage and sonya to be the series main protagonist moving forward and replacing jax with a rule 32 gender swap version of himself and giving him nothing to do but be the handicap brawler depressed turn coat token of the team getting his ass whopped by his youngerself and his daughter selling out to slave owner kronika and he's just like cyborg of the new 52 justice league roaster and teen titans he's just their to fill their black friend quota and kai sat out for several games and should've been one of the main fighters on the roaster in deadly alliance deception mkx and a lighting and fire god but instead what we got was cornrows, him giving back raiden lighting staff gifted to him to sujinko who gave the staff back to a dark corrupted raiden and kai being sidelined to bo rai cho in mkx....
this is why street fighter isnt popular anymore. this logic

Shinnok has a lot going for him with his bone magic, he was pretty cool in mkx and was only defeated only due to a literal plot armor.
In mk1 tho? Liu Kang said he is powerless in his timeline, so things that make Shinnok intresting for me like he was fallen elder god" , his amulet. So from story perspective it's hard to bring him back.
But in next reboot? He should be . Because he is cool.
I can see More Potential in Shinnok, Blaze, Hotaru, Kobra, and Moloch that all they need is an Upgrade.

if nether realm redid shinnok's outfit , revamp special moves and story he could work. hotaru outfit is suppose to be similar to insects that has a shell. if they made kobra and Kira part of the havok's group and have hotaru part of sun do police force but then went rogue I think those ideas could work in the new timeline.

I don't think Shiinok was canonically Shai and Raiden's father in the previous timelines. I think that might have been a concept that was scrapped and they went with it in the shitty MK movie sequel then it made it's way into MK vs DC somehow. We all know how much they've retconned stuff amd gone back and forth with different things in just the original timeline.

Honestly Kronika could have a really cool moveset or bare minimum be a cool kameo but they most likely wont add her since everyone hates her/hate Mk11.
Seriously, just the mere sight of having "Kronika" be on the story mode and be the benefactor of the new era's Shang Tsung and Quan Chi upset a lot of people before they saw the reveal.

What I want for a new beginning for shinnok is that him and Cetrion will be young adults who are born in the neatherrrealm and quan chi trains them both. Cetrion will eventually join the heroes since sheâs a hero character of light and having a rivalry with her brother throughout the series, and also quan chi will try to betray this version of shinnok and shinnok goes his own way

Shinok needs a komeback in mkx I felt like he was weak
buff ideas, spread the word
Scorpion: should be buffed by making his amp ground tp a launcher again and make the cancel built in to both his regular and amp tp. buff the amp hellfire move by removing the damage over time and making it function like how it does in mkx allowing him to combo after hitting it. he needs new strings some mix ups(i personally want his mkx overhead back). some moves need to be sped up
Sub-zero: he needs his attack strings made slightly faster except for his overhead, he also needs 1 or 2 new attack string launchers, both his regular and amp iceball needs to be faster to not only be able to combo with it off of normal attack strings but in juggle combos too. He should have the ability to throw his ice clone, i also think he should have his ice burst special back with the same proporties as mkx to compliment his ice clone(but just does not send you that far away). lastly he needs some of his damage scailing off ground freeze.
Havoc: He needs at least five new attack strings, he needs his legacy move that titan havoc has were he takes off his head and rolls it but its a mid, has the same affect as reptiles acid ball, and also hits mid exploding on contact. he also needs another one of his legacy moves that again titan havoc has where he bends his hole body for a low projectile and the amp of that can be a knock down allowing for combo extentions for cameos like scorpion
Quan shi: needs his mind control move from mkx back, and make half his attack strings faster. and finally his low tentacle needs to be one bar
Raiden: change raiden's b2 back to the mkx launcher but make it as slow as sub'z b2. give him back his vicinity blast move back with the same properties as mkx. Give him back his mkx amp lightning projectile back for combo extentions but have his regular fully charged move have the same proportys as the amp. he also needs to be buffed by making his amp electrocute special launch no matter how many bars he uses
liu kang: for starters nerf his f4 one button pressure but give him his 113 mkx launcher back along with maybe 2 or 3 more new attack strings to make up for his pressure and to make it less braindead. make his low fireball slightly faster, change his air fireball to the mkx fireball and the amp the one we have now. give him back his mk 11 dragon parry, and finally make his fatal blow start up 2 hits but the first one restands
kung lao: nerf tf out of his wake up special by making it unsafe af on block. give him back his mkx or 9 spin back but have it have work the same as mk11 so he can use it more than two times in a combo. swap his dive kick now for a mix between his mkx or 9 dive kick. he needs his mkx tp, and his low hat back, but nerf his mix up buttion's he has now by making the overhead follow up slightly slower. give him his mk11 21212 attack string and his mkx 44 launcher attack string back. and also he needs his hat spin.
Nitara: buff her by making her command dash like homelander so for instance all of her normal attack strings that leaves her in the air cost no bar anymore to command dash and it cost no bar when she is in the air command dashing for combos but the next one after that does. and also make fer overhead that leaver her in the air slightly faster. she should also be able plus after hitting her bf2 special allowing her to cameo combo after it. lastly give her back her legacy projectile move back.
Reiko: give him his invasion boss special move, the one is like jades dead butterfly move from mk11 but it launches and he uses his spear(this is already in the game files btw). give this guy at least 1 more special move that involes his knife that's on his person but he never uses for some reason. he needs like 5 new normal attack stings involving his knife and his spear, maybe 2 of them be launchers.
smoke: give him his smoke cloud move back from mk9, along having it hit low but have the same start up as the one he got now. make his command dash special cancelable anywhere instead of just near yr opponent. also another command dash sending him backwards but the max distance is half screen but he can cancel it at any time during that animation too. and lastly make it easyer to do ground combos after his amp db 4 special.
Reptile: give him his acid pool amp special move back but make the amp the special and make the amp of that last longer along with his claw swipe move from mk x. give him 3 to 4 attack stings and have at least one be a launcher and at least 2 be for mixup followups. and lastly allow him to move after doing his forceball just a tad bit more almost like how mkx was but just not as broken
Li mei: 4 or 5 new attack strings, 2 a launchers 1 plus frame one, the rest strings into lows. she needs a new special that let's you command detonate her lantern with one fast motion, fast enuf to do it mid combo. change her base air overhead special hit reaction on airborne opponents, instead of a knockdown it leaves li mei grounded and the opponent in the air allowing for combos like how she could in 3d mk games. also give her back her overhead command special and the amp allow for ground combos. and lastly allow her to be able to combo with one amp projectile grounded and in the air.

We thought they were gonna do a Kombat Pack 3 with 5 characters to top MK11 off, especially not too long after Ed told us that MK11 was âNot even kloseâ to being done after they added just 3 characters and a couple of cringe skin packs then baited us for months, and then made the big announcement that MK11 was done and no longer being supported.

Shinnok is iffy but I think they should use his MKX alternate or samurai armor as his default going forward because his MKX default appearance looks really bad. Hotaru could be really interesting to see majorly because of his armor and maybe they could expand upon him by giving him the power to command other fighters to surrender, grovel or something similar but he has promise.
I hope we get the crow in the Mk roster as commemoration for the movie remake coming next month

Moloch is cool, too. Heâs not meant to be a Goro or Kintaro, heâs just a giant powerful oni who has a win over Scorpion. Lore wise, heâs done more than Kintaro and Motaro combined!

I think Shinnok is powerless in the new timeline. If I remember right, Liu references making Quan Chi's master powerless in the new age and that the amulet shouldn't exist.

Theirs so many mk characters that have honestly never had much spotlight if any at all. Kobra and kira need a huge rework if they are to still relevant to mk. Hsu hao on the other hand... can stay dead. Taven and dagon may no longer exist since we really don't know if the red dragons are alive at all. Anyhow, my list is hsu hao, shinnok and cetrion, hydro cause we got rain. Mokap, and lastly Kronica. Now im not against Onaga returning, but because of the stupid hourglass, death became a pointless redo button, only way for everything in the multiverse to feel such existential threat is to finally bring out the one being. It's the only creature in existence that can threaten a titans plans and with so many realities out their, whose to say his emergence won't consume others remotely near to add to his strength
Hotaru deserves another chance, given some new moves... I don't care sh*t in a fighting game, as long as the kharacter is fun to play as and as long as they don't have GUNS, or TASERS as the sorry excuse as a special move... Raiden brother is fujin who are both heavenly Oni they don't have parents, shinnok is not raidens father. shinnok was just an elder god that rebelled against the other gods to bring about the one being above all the elder gods. The kronkia shit was inserted and retconned in at the last minute cause ed boon and netherrealm wanted to push a female final boss instead of what die hard fans wanted which was the return if onaga the dragon king .

the writters fumbled the bag with kai in MKX giving it to bo rai cho deadly alliance and deception only bringing him out last minute in mk Armageddon updating his look for the early 2000s with them outdated cornrows and a spiked mace and they left him going on a spiritual journey of enlightenment gifted raiden staff being the other token black guy like jax with nothing to do he didn't even use raidens lighting staff and it wound up with corrupt dark raiden and kai just casually hands it over to sujinko who was set up to be one of the replacements for liu kang like wack ass taven, sujinko didnt even make sense cause his powers are mimmic the moves of fighters such as the pokemon ditto or synx from xmen and hes supposed to be born thousands of years during the great kun laos victory going on that quest to free onaga who was in shadow behind the scenes till quan chi and shang tsung ressurected his mummified army. Kai sat out and was sideline for far too long
