And welcome back to another Mortal Kombat 1 video!
With us back in the swing of things Mortal Kombat related, today I wanted to do quite an undertaking, and cover ALL the missing characters mentioned In the new established era of the current timeline!
As we have a very new yet familiar wave of characters, ones who have changed and altered for this new generation, so natural it does raises the questions of, where exactly are some of the other character in this new world?
Ill be using arcade ladder endings, intro dialogues as well as the main story as a reference, to gauge and see who exists In the current present, as it could very well give us an idea of what Is going on with them!

I don't like Onaga being just a random beast with no mind
No one does NRS just hates the guy especially considering he was the one 3d character cooler than Shao Kahn made NRS cringe with jealousy, so they reduced him to nothing and gave all his Dragon perks to Shao and he's still losing.

I was genuinely baffled by seeing Hotaru NOT being in MK1 espeically with orderrealm flooded??? I was really hoping i'd see him again tbh. I was also hoping to see Mavado! It's neat seeing these guys being mentioned in dialogues however! Hoping my favs return
I wanna say Mavado is going to be added as a kameo fighter eventually, but don't quote me on that.
It’s possible that if an aftermath DLC happens we could see Hotaru being added as DLC maybe even get Dairou returning as well

My guess is that Jade lives elsewhere in Outworld and lives with her parents, who are both alive and well in this timeline. Her parents could be part of a barony in Outworld or something, and Jade herself could have been childhood friends Kitana, Mileena, and Tanya. Jade and her family in the past could have visited and been visited by the Royal House. Sindel and Jerrod could have also been close friends with Jade's parents as well. Guess we'll never know for sure until we can see her as DLC in the game, maybe.
Shes “countess jade” which means she married someone apart of the royal family lmaoooo

I kinda want to see the conversations Liu Kang, Geras and the original Raiden had when they were recreating the world now...

Geras: "Maybe it's time to stop tinkering, lest you grow as mad as Kronika did..."
i feel like Jade and her family are definitely another royal house in Outworld. It’s interesting that her and Kitana are unfamiliar with each other so I hope if and when they do meet, they become quick close allies!
the prospects of an titan shinnok somewhere in this multiverse sounds fucking terrifying it is a shame we didn't get a playable shinnok in mk11 but hoping he comes back in the next game with onaga

@@Tribrid-zv3nq model of Scorpion cameo is not like Kuai Liang's model, visible skin on his face is darker (like Hanzo's).
oh my, I can't believe I'm saying this, but it would be better if there was Kuai Liang as Tundra instead of Frost's cameo. Then we would have Hanzo as Scorpion, even if for the sake of the plot he would also be Lin Kuei's member like Smoke
Jade was “supposedly leaked” in the part 2 story mode and KP2 and she’s heavily mentioned in some intros but we’ll see what the future holds🙂

I think Jade is going to make a return in the sequel with a new spin on her character along side with Kotal, plus I believe Kuai is going to become Sub-Zero after defeating his brother Bi-Han with Hanzo becoming the second Scorpion. Then Bi-Han will side with Quan chi becoming Noob Saibot.
I would love to see Fujin, which maybe a female version of, as raiden’s sister just like how cyrax, that is mentioned, is female in liu’s timeline. Another timeline change is the OIA where they are a division of the fbi with Jax as the director of with Kenchi as his best agent, so if I had to take a guess I believe Sonya maybe working alongside Stryker as a beat cop to find Kano.

I recently rewatched Mk: Conquest on HBOmax. I think a fun video idea would be to look back on it, and the other media forms of mk, and see how ideas from them were put into the canon of the games

They’re with all the features and content from previous games this one doesn’t have.
Are they really going to kill off Kia and jataaka like that? Off screen, before they have a chance to do anything? Hopefully they come back.
This is NRS we're talking about. They're too lazy to expand on characters sometimes. Which is why I think they should get rid of story mode and replace it with mini stories for each character.

Also Kotal is mentioned in a pre fight statement between General Shao and Kitana with Kitana saying “My sister has given your post to Kotal”
I'm not really happy that Jade is not in the game because with Mortal Kombat 1 being a whole new restart jade could have definitely had a high chance of having a part to the story mode and not just being kitana Friend :(

@Tuturial464 I like mk1 better then mk11 at least mk1 has reptile my main favorite my main and doesn't have 4 to 5 revenants on the select screen I hated the revenants and I hated mk11 for not having reptile and smoke and ermac . Mk11 didn't have my main reptile and mk1 does .I'll play any mk game with reptile vs playing a mk game that doesn't have reptile.

I’m honestly curious about how Shinnok, Jade, The Kytinn, the Shokans, the Naknatas, Sektor, Cyrax, Hanzo, Hotaru, Suchin, Harumi, Argus, Delia, Kotal, and the Black Dragons would Play Out in this New Universe.
I could hanzo and shajinko being the next wave of champions both of which have been seen in the tower ending which are cannon

i always assumed that since shinnok is an elder god, he simply survived the time change with his head detached somewhere...another assumption, that titan shang tsung was the one to give quan chi the amulet of shinnok(which i had assumed was given to shao by either new timeline shang tsung or quan chi). all assumptions but it keeps my mind from going around in circles lol

In my opinion I think we should’ve had 2 sub zeros Bi Han and Kuai Liang and bring back Hanzo as Scorpion. As the timeline restarted it would’ve been amazing to see the Scorpion Subzero rivalry be brought back but in this timeline they made Scorpion and Sub Zero brothers which I feel won’t hit the same.
Mk 1 Scorpion is an absolute embarrassment 😊 they did our boy Hanzo soooo damn dirty .Mk 1 itself can get better or include content or stuff , BUT I'll never forgive Nrs for the Hanzo part alone !

In all seriousness, for this new era, we could’ve at least paved away for the new era by kicking off an entirely new rivalry of different fucked up themes of morality and havik and hotaru together would have been perfect for this.
but NRS seems to care more so about spectacle rather than willing to improve on concepts that have much potential.
Scorpion and Subzero, mileena and kitana, liu kang and Shang tsung, shao vs raiden are all rivalries that had their time to shine

Since its a convoluted mess that Kui Liang is Scorpion now, Bi Han is still Sub Zero. My guess is this timeline's Noob Saibot will be their murdered father the Grandmaster

There is a reference to Mavado in an intro between Li Mei and Kitana. The former mentioning that the Red Dragon clansman is up to no good in Sun Do. Kitana even warning Li Mei not to attempt to capture him by herself. A more level-headed, younger, more disciplined Kano would be a very terrifying foe indeed. And unlike most MK characters, Mavado has no supernatural powers or cybernetic enhancements. . .
Hopefully he will be more like how Deadly Alliance laid him out; a powerful kombatant and a criminal mastermind. In the original timelines lore being skilled enough to fight and either drive off or outright defeat characters like Kabal, almost killing Kenshi, Kano, Sonya Blade, and Erron Black in the MKX comics (which ain't saying much in poor Erron's case...). His influence and devilment, retroactively, can be felt as early as Mortal Kombat 4 if not earlier. Simultaneously manipulating the *Outerworld Investigation Agency* to his own ends for years via moles like Hsu Hao and working alongside the Deadly Alliance in their many schemes.
I never liked how easily *in-universe* then-upstarts like Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs overpowered and slew a character as formidable as Mavado so easily. If he and his Red Dragon Clan are brought in a future Mortal Kombat game in some major role, I hope that is all corrected and they do something worthwhile and fun with many of these long missing characters. Though for now, I'll just be very happy to see him return as a Kameo Fighter, as it's been leaked/rumored. ❤
I remembered one if Havok's intro's rebeals his true name is "Dairou"
Couple of honorable mentions
Intro dialogues mention Raiden having a sister, who could be this timeline's take on Fujin, given the two called each other 'brother' back in MK11
Given the similar name and role she plays in Kung Lao and Raiden's training, Madam Bo could be this timeline's take on Bo'Rai Cho
Unlike everything you've already mentioned, these are more hypothetical, but I don't think they are so out there

I hope the male version of camelon with a c is a playable character as well as motaro, kintaro, cyber sub zero, cyrax, cyber smoke, sektor, Onaga, blaze, tremor, jade, kotal kahn, some obscur characters like hydro and Acid and maybe triborg. Wishful thinking, though, what characters do you guys want in a style similar to this game in a sequel?
I feel like nether realm should do Onaga for the final boss of the DLC and an entirely new tower with him as a boss should be implemented into the game because come on Titan Shang Tsung wasn't even really a boss. Now before you all start saying save Onaga for the next game well this is likely going to be halfway another reboot of the franchise and we have to remember there is a Shao Kahn out there that got the power of Blaze and I want to see him as a final boss in the next game. Not to mention I still want a One Being boss fight.
Mk1 needs more content stage fatalities 1v1 needs to return and the kameo characters need to be playable too to have a bigger roster and with the option for kameo assistance during battle along with tag team mode mk9 edition animalities etc
Fun little theory ive thought about, scorpion is gonna die and become the new noob and hanzo is gonna grow up and take over the mantle of scorpion

Here's what I think of the characters named..
Jade- I think she'll be the head mistress of the Outworld Sorcerer's Academy.
Sektor & Cyrax- The same as they've always been but we might get their human forms on the main roster.
Delia & Argus- I think they were the first King and Queen of Outworld.
Black Dragon- Should be lead by Tremor this time around since he's the most powerful one on the team, and one of the most powerful characters in MK history but very under utilized.
Scorpion-Hanzo should of still be Scorpion but with the same story that he has in MK1, kinda weird that his wife in another timeline will now be a motherly figure to Hanzo. Also I could've seen a young Takeda filling the role that young Hanzo has in this game, would've made more sense imo.
Kotal- I could see him joining Kitana's new Outworld army.
Sheeva- Maybe apart of Kitana's new army in against her father.
Hotaru- Should've been on the roster or at least DLC, maybe in the future, probably also apart of Kitana's army since Seido will probably become the new chaos realm.
Harumi- most likely a Kunoichi figure as part of the Shirai Ryu.
Suchin- on and off lover of Kenshi due to his past as a Yakuza member.
D'Vorah- Her and the Kytin should've been native to Vaternus, Nitara's realm, instead of Outworld. I feel like they fit that realm more, and it adds more character to that place as well and not just Vampire world.
Onaga- The next big bad, potentially in the next story expansion and Titan Havik is a cover up.
Shinnok- Maybe a Krypt keeper, or the position Kharon had in MK11 being the ferryman of souls to the Netherrealm.
Kano- Starts out as a Special Forces member and later betrays them.
Kai- Probably like the Leroy Jackson, from Tekken, of this game.
Kung Jin- One of the new Shaolin initiates as Kung Lao is trying to keep him off the past of crime.
Kia and Jataaka- could easily be resurrected as revenants and more likely to be Kameos in the future.
Naknadans- I think they'll be more in the future since they are named after their occupation.
Is Kintaro in the Game the Tigerman with 4 Arms
When you beat arcade with Rain he mentions he is a son of Argus. So he's still a half god.
No U.S. Special Forces here. Since he did mention Black Dragon, Kabal and Jarek weren't brought up.

I am kind of in a problem.
Because my most favourite character is Bi-Han, I always wanted him to be restored as a Sub-zero, my dream came true this time.I don't want him to die.
But I like the shadow ninja, Noob Saibot, and miss his deep voice and shady character too, He is my most favourite ninja of MK.
Can they show a Bi-Han from future too in this timeline, I mean its MK, so having two characters of one person from different timelines, is not weird in mk atleast.

Hanzo & Bi-Han should of been brothers which since he's so hell bent in ruining Sub-Zero(s) character instead of Lin Kuei they could of been Shirai Ryu along with Kuai Liang & Smoke. Instead of reigniting the Scorpion & Sub-Zero feud which they killed off for good in MK X/11. I would of Had Bi-Han die later on in the story saving his brothers which will lead him coming back as Noob which Kuai Liang takes over the Sub-Zero mantle which later on in the expansion story he saves Bi-Han's soul from a Chaos Power Quan Chi bring Bi-Han back to the realm of mortals & later breaks offs from the Shirai Ryu to form a new clan being the Lin Kuei but instead of being rivals to the Shirai Ryu the cryomancers tell their brother Hanzo Earthrealm needs more than the Shirai Ryu to defend their realm from possible threats which will lead them forming the Lin Kuei.
Jade will be back but not as a fighter as a kameo

Even tho I find Kuai Liang Scorpion story in this timeline good so far. I'm just disappointed that not only have his name Scorpion taken from Hanzo but as well his wife Harumi taken from him. And to be wed to Kuai Liang. Like I hope they don't turn him evil once he discover the truth. Like if Liu Kang couldn't make a timeline with Hanzo and Harumi being happy. Why bring Hanzo back to this timeline. But I will give the writers a chance to see what they do with his character.
