Im hoping the free skin were getting is a Michael Jackson outfit for Johnny, AND give him the sounds, thats the only reason Id play him.
Like with the throw when he trips the opponent he goes "AH" and then when he goes for the kick he says "HEE HEE!"
And then when he does that shadow step where he dodges every hit like Omni-Man he goes "AH, AH, AH" and then when he does his Hype Mode Taunts he says either "HOO! AH, OWW!" or "SHAMONE, AH HEE-HEE"

Iâm pretty sure Takedaâs voice is the same as in MKX, but it looks like thereâs a lot of buffs/updates coming which is a good sign. And of course Johnny Cage gets another skin smh.

I see these âcompetitiveâ or âproâ players make these videos that just rip on the game and say itâs dead and that it has killed mortal kombat for them, but I genuinely enjoy MK1. Yeah itâs not perfect and could have things fixed, but to say itâs completely dead because of the low EVO numbers is strange to me

I'm so hype for Takeda to drop. tho admittedly, I haven't been on the game too hard lately. I've been picking up hours at these gigs, so it's been a little road block đ§ along the way.
But once Takeda and Ferra join, it's going to be so fun, and then year 2 will be officially announced, and we get a trailer or some form of revelation.

The pro player community is always the smallest percentage of a game's playerbase anyway. MK1 sold over 3 million copies in the first month. And it is still topping the sales charts. Imagine how many it must have sold in total by now. Let's face it, the sales are the only numbers that really matter. If the shareholders are making money, they'll put even more resources into the game for dlc.

But, rather than the usual attention that few of the kharacters getting when it comes to skind, like Johnny, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Raiden, Liu, and Scorpion(not that I mind but...) I wish all kharacters will get some much needed love and attention. Such as my girl Tanya(who is not getting pretty much anything on any invasions so far, and pretty much ignored on every new season), Kenshi, Reiko(pretty much nothing new for a long time), Sindel, and a most kharacters besides few of these so called 'HEAVY FAVORITES', they always don't get sh*t, as if they don't care... Most of them only has like 2 or 3 skins with only different pallets, while aforementioned few popular kharacters actually have enough that you have to scroll down... Its kinda unfair... At least MK11 had all kharacters 40 skins/pallets and the difference at the later date was only a few more new skins for certain kharacters, not this much of a gap...
I'm not a pro at all but I have enjoyed Mortal Kombat since the first Mortal Kombat. I also watched all the movies and film content. However, as fantastic as this game looks, this new Mortal Kombat 1 is the worst MK game ever. Just because this is the number 1 selling fighting game it doesn't mean that it isn't crap. People buy crap all the time for no reason at all. What killed this game for me, besides the Kameo system, is Invasions. For the love of God! Invasions is the worst.

No they could care less how many people are gonna compete at evo, or even if people love or hate the game. Kenny.. letâs be real here. Mortal Kombat 1 is not doing well. Just because a game sells well doesnât necessarily mean itâs a good product. Take Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, sold very well but itâs player base dropped dramatically and essentially is a dead game.
Evo doesnât just represent the pros it represents all of FGC which I feel you should know that as you are a creator of a fighting game so the evo numbers reflect the lack of interest the game brings to its audience as whole.
You can watch a tekken or street fighter fight and it can be the most exciting fight of the tournament at any moment, meanwhile mk1 is the same meta hungry tactics that are boring and lack creativity that should be in this game.
Mortal Kombat as a franchise will always be well known but as it stands right now, itâs in a more terrible state than mk11 was and that didnât happen till Iâd say aftermath.
