Sid statistically had the second best season ever for a 34 year old, only behind Gretzky. Unbelievable he's still playing at this level.

We are spoiled to have both of them playing in the same era. Easily 2 of the top 10 players ever.
All I've ever known is Sidney Crosby doing what he does best. Been watching this game since 2007. I have no idea what I'm gonna do when he's done. Yeah hockey's gonna be in a great spot with McDavid, Matthews, MacKinnon, Svechnikov, etc leading the way, but it's sad my childhood is getting further and further into the rearview

I hope Sid gets at least one more Hart Trophy, Art Ross Trophy, and/or Rocket Richard Trophy before he retires. He may not put up as many points as guys like McDavid, Matthews, Kaprizov, or Draisaitl, but he is proving that he can still kick a lot of ass at his current age.
Would be great to see. He certainly deserves another one of each of those awards considering injuries robbed him of quite a few from 2010-2013.

@@PuckinAround I agree, you have to watch their games to really appreciate what he's doing. I'd say Letang is equally as impressive this season at his age. Turnovers way down and still one of the league leaders in ice time. Looks as good as ever

That milestone game was crazy, came back to win that game after the flyers took the lead.
What makes this crazy is Crosby is considered an all time great player yet not a single one of his goals this season are high skill goals. All of his goals are just high IQ being in the right place at the right time and making the right play. 31 goals in a season is not a crazy amount by any means but no one can make scoring 30 goals in a season look so damn easy.

Yea I think Crosby is on a totally other level, compared to all players that’s been in the league. Look at the competition as well. Crosby is hand down the best hockey player that ever lived. Gretzky would agree. He is truly the next one. He is complete. Crosby can turn a game on his own. He is a true center. He is what he needs to be for the moment, not only a scorer. And with all that pressure and expectations early on, all his injury’s and he always comes back. They said Crosby was done 3 years ago. Seems he has just begun.
And yet some NHL fanbases continue to say Crosby Sucks. I mean Flyer fans are the most vocal but I bet if Crosby became a free agent half of the NHL teams would offer him the moon
