    500 goals, over 1300 points, dude is an offensive powerhouse. But what really makes him special is his 200 ft. game he puts just as much effort in the offensive zone as he does the defensive. Sids a certified legend in the sport

      @@zeusthedrumlord547 Watching McDavid play, the announcers never compare him to Crosby, instead they go with Lemieux, Jagr and Gretzky. Last years points per game, is one example.

    Not a Pens fan but Crosby is my favourite all time player. He's one player I will defend to my grave to anyone who doesn't understand how great of a player he is.

      Been watching Crosby, a few years ago, it does my heart good to watch how wonderful he can play this games, and never makes a big Show of all his beautiful goals, he can do it all now, and deserves the MVP for 2023, it’s an emotional lift to watch him even today 04/01/2023

      @@trvman1 Agree and there will be someone after McDavid and someone after that. Are you saying Crosby isn't good? What is the point of your comment bringing up McDavid? McDavid what not mentioned by Lora Smitt who you commented to. Are you saying McDavid is already a better player? He doesn't have the stats that Crosby has, maybe you should wait to make that comment.

    The one-handed backhander, is spectacular, but the tip to himself and bat-in goal is just mind-boggling! Funny that the tip to himself eluded the broadcast team.

      i think the tip to himself is impressive but to actually raise the puck on your backhand with 1 hand is something only like 0.000001% of people can do

    Videos like this literally being a tear to my eye.
    We’ve been so lucky to watch his career so far and we’re still seeing him do incredible
    Things every night.
    It’s just so sad in the potential twilight of his career just not knowing how much longer we’ll have him in the game. What a special special talent. One of the all-time greats, I don’t care how many points McDavid scores he’ll never be on crosby’s level as a complete player.

    Crosby broke physics on that Sabres goal. I remember watching the game and wondering how he managed to score with one hand, back handed and top shelf. It's arguably the best goal I've ever seen.

    Being a penguins fan my entire life has been one of the greatest pleasures of said life. From Mario to Sid and jagr and Geno, we’ve truly been blessed here. It’s been an honoring watching Sid since day one. There’s never been a player quite like him. He’s brought such joy to so many here in Pittsburgh over the last 17 years. Here’s to hopefully one more Cinderella story and a 4th cup. All hockey fans simply don’t know how lucky we are. What a ride it’s been.

      Not a pens fans but with that roster is what makes you guys a pretty awesome and classic franchise. I never hate seeing the pens do well, and I don’t say that lightly because I don’t want anyone succeeding other than my Oilers. Sid’s the Goat

    i love how early in the year, everyone was blowing their loads on Mcdavids couple crazy goals (and yes they were amazing) but im thinking WTH, we in pittsburgh have been watching this since 05 lol

    As a St Louis Blues fan, I was always envious of Pittsburgh’s luck when they had good drafting numbers and Lemieux and Crosby were available. Two players in the all time top ten.

    I also thought the time he shot it off of Lundqvists head intentionally in 2017 is one of his more underrated goals.

    Great video bro. Just subbed, straight binge worthy. Love how you replay with the announcers describing what they just witnessed rink side. Huge Pens fan and anything hockey. That being said 😉 😉 Sid’s home run swing against New Jersey a couple years ago should be on here. Pretty sure it was in OT, and his own rebound, while skating backwards…

    Him getting his 500th goal against the Flyers, the team he said early on he was gonna make "Pay" was icing on the cake. Scored on them more than anyone, they don't boo him as much in Philly anymore after that lol

      it's so true and you've had 3 of the best all time players ever in Lemieux, Jagr and now Crosby (even Malkin)
      U and Edmonton have had the most luck in NHL history except only one has had success recently

    He will definitely be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. A first ballot hall of famer for sure. He truly is a hockey legend. He will be inducted in the year that he retires. Just like Gretzky, he won't be waiting the four years after retirement.

      I think even with all his injuries he ends up with over 600 goals and near top 10 in points.

      If it wasn't for injuries I would bet he would be at around 1750 points right now! That's insane considering he still puts up well over a point per game.

    Two plays I would put at the top of the list that were not included:
    1. 2016 east conference round vs Bolts Sid splits through three defenders to score
    2. 2017 vs Rangers Sid scores from below the line banking the puck off of Henrik Lundqvist's helmet and into the net (my personal favorite Crosby goal of all time)

    I remember sitting in the arena for those home Calgary and Montreal games where Crosby would go through everyone in the other team like they were A.I in a EA video game and score or make some sort of an incredible play literally every game lol People here in Pittsburgh were especially spoiled back then and we still are, it was definitely a lot easier to get tickets back then and they were a lot cheaper 😂 but it always cool to look back on these! Great job on the video!

    Probably the best Crosby top plays list on YT - He has been pretty quiet this year on the big plays hopefully come playoffs he pulls something out. He is on cruise control in the regular season now

    What's crazy to think is he missed like 200 games in his prime due to concussions and he still is over 500 goals with almost 1500 points. At this point he is STILL well over a point per game so he easily could be at 1750 points right now. If Crosby never had concussion issues I think there is no doubt he would retire with #2 all time in points and one of the greatest players of all time (which he still will be).

    Whats insane is there are alot of players who can pull off maybe one or two of theses feats. But theres not one that can do all of these. To say Crosby isn't one if the most phenomenal players of all time is just blasphemy. He may not have the numbers of Gretzky, but its hard to not want to consider him one of the Greatest of All Time.

      Probably because of these plays he has to do other things. When you get scored on like this you’ll do anything to try and not let that happen again. Sometimes Crosby will dish it back.
