- Join us at glorious Wentworth Woodhouse in its heyday in the 1900s, as we take a look at the life of our young Second Footman , Oscar John Snelling, for the third in our series, 'Lives in Service'.
We follow the man the Family and Staff called "John" in his weekly routine and see through his eyes one of the most extraordinary events that took place at Wentworth Woodhouse: the flight in 1910 of an early Bleriot aeroplane from the very lawns of Wentworth Woodhouse itself!
