- Grinding up 100 bushels of ear corn to feed the cows. Using a John Deere 4020 tractor and an International Hammer Mill to grind the corn. The corn is on ears still. It will get ground up and we'll swing the hopper over and get it started.
Great video
Thanks!
Always loved to grind feed like this.
This is super, my 454 ih and 9in mill take a long time to
Nice bro
Thank you for what you and your fam are doing
My dad still uses a Massey-Ferguson grinder/mixer. Your International looks identical. Back in the day I think all grinders were made by Artsway and just painted different colors.
Yes. We have robbed parts off a Massey before.
Glad it fixed you problem!
Awesome video
Ground ear corn is great feed. Bet that beats grinding outta the crib;)
yes. Shoveling ear corn is not ideal.
Great video, thanks! Seems like a great feed option. Gives the fiber with the cob ground up.
Have you ever had to repair the grinder portion of that international? I'd love to see how that area works.
Happy New Year's
Not yet. If we do I will definitely make a video!
Nice looking corn! That’s my favorite way to grind...right off the wagon 😉😁👍🏻. Did that grinder come originally with an orbital drive on the inflow auger?
No we added the hydraulic motor for the drag. The newer models had the hydraulic motor if I’m not mistaken.
@@farmcards kiero adaptarle un sinfín para q alimente igual q el tuyo... no tienes problemas con las mazorcas q se atoren en el sinfin o algo así?
That's good clean corn. Not many shucks. What kind of picker did you use.
It’s a new idea with the 12 roll bed.
Can we get s equipment tour and the farm love the videos
Yes. We can do that. We have some tractor tours if you look through some of the old videos, but maybe we can just do a single video with most of our farm equipment in it.
how do you unload the grinder with no unloading auger
We use it to fill a wheelbarrow. we don’t unload into a bin with it.
