I think everyone should donate but I also believe this should be the responsibility of the Canadian government to spend the money to find our lost soilders

I think these men rest a little easier knowing that at least someone tried but they won’t fully Rest In Peace until they are found and given the proper burial they deserve.

What a total shame. These men gave the ultimate sacrifice and how do the "Canadian" govt. respond but with a death ear. They sit in their nice seats on Parliament Hill and do nothing of value day in and day out. If they will not speak for our fallen soldiers then we as "Real" Canadians must step up not because it is a right but because it is a"responsibility. "
I for one will sleep at night knowing that I did not ignore their sacrifice for everything they did and others like them who defended my Country's freedom. I will be contributing to this effort because everything I have in my Country is because of them. God bless these men and give them the the honor and dignity they so richly deserve.

I can understand how an oversight like this could have occurred.
Depending on the wartime situation in that area, perhaps neccssaitating the impromptu burial. However that deep of a crater was not a good choice if later disinterment was expected.

with the 100th anniversary of Vimy Ridge coming up couldn't the Cdn Govt pay for it or at least the Minister of defence or vetrean affairs chip on as a way to honour the Vimy wat dead?
