Stellar Blade was a game I was very intereseted in when I first saw it and now has become one of my all time fav games. Hoping for the soundtrack on LP and, if not a sequel then a juicy DLC =)
Soundtrack would be nice it's a great game for me right now it might be my game of the year
You actually made me wanna play this game… I kinda was lackin on it, but I didn’t realize, I thought it was only boss battles… I didn’t know you can explore.
I thought it was like a linear game with increasing bosses…

And I’m surprised you only made one joke about Eve’s “Assets”
Damn I’m not gonna lie, she looks so beautiful.
It’s also cool… they basically took the names Adam, Eve, and Lily (Lilith, which is in the Jewish version of the Bible, amongst others)…. It just seem like a cool world, I liked how you put it… the words, you said it’s “hauntingly peaceful describing the barren wasteland.”
That’s gives me a good idea.

its really good there is a lot in the game to two different endings ng plus its bigger than what i thought it was going to be

@@TenaciousSea my reviews are late but i actually play the games lol plus if i upload review a week after it doesnt get views because the competition. but the channel is growing faster every month it seems its crazy i was at 285 a week and a half ago now 318
Free Stellar Blade!
Agree with everything you say, but a review should mention the platforming - there is a lot of it, much of which must be completed for the main quest line. Some of these sections took me longer to complete and were more stressful than the boss fights! (Perhaps because I suffer from vertigo). While difficulty settings can be adjusted for the fights, they have no effect on platforming.
Otherwise good - and concise! - review.

gotta ask which part did you struggle with for me it was the rope swing mechanic which didnt feel right and trying to land on those little droids going up that tower in the wasteland
@@MustPlayReviews Jumping the droids was annoying just because it was so easy to double jump (to your death) instead of single jump, but the worst - which took me hours - were the last jump on the timed course to turn on the three power buttons, the jump/wall run in the sunken city which you have to do to get all the campsites and the series of jumps down the canyon near the wasteland entrance to get a can. The rope swinging annoyed me too but seems to have been improved after one of the patches, but maybe I just got better at it.
I did get them all - since I eventually got the platinum - but it took a ridiculous number of attempts. If I was not retired with lots of time I would have given up, although I admit that some sections - like the slide with the shredders - were hilarious.
1:52 -- That's a bit of a spoiler. The story starts out with everyone calling each other "humans" and you have to figure out that they are actually Andro-Eidos androids later in the story. If the review was not meant to be spoiler free, you might want to mention that up front. Otherwise, solid review! You covered a lot more about the environments than most reviewers do.
@@papacharlie-niner148 I don't think so they have been saying from the beginning that eve was a android I mean they are all mechanical like the opera singer and that old guy if it was a spoiler oops 😬
@@MustPlayReviews It's a bit of a spoiler because the Hall of Records propaganda that EVE hears basically describes current humans as she and Lily believe, to be humans with a Body Cell to replace the heart and a few other bionics to replace the frailties of their human ancestors.
One of my favorite games ever now. Really shocked that it's only sold 1 million copies but I guess that's decent for a new IP that didn't get a lot of critical reception, not to mention being attacked by critics. They probably should've released it on PC maybe a week after launch and it would get huge word of mouth.
the people complaining about censorship hurt its sales i think. and i really don't think it was censored they forget that these things have to go through ratings boards and from what i remember reading years ago even something as simple as a costume change has to get recertified so those were probably design changes that were made before release. plus its only been out since April 23. 2 months 1 million is a lot most don't hit that in a year if at all. i get people want it on pc but every game that releases on 2 to 3 platforms at once are usually a disaster with performance and other. look at dragons dogma that game is awful with its performance on everything its the worst running game capcom has released in years. I'm not a fan no longer having exclusive games to platform it takes away what makes them special same with pc when crisis was only on pc everybody wanted that game. honestly its also a bad business decision you are taking people away from you platform losing sale from your own store look at what happed to Xbox
no one buys games on it anymore with gamepass and pc
@@MustPlayReviews I have the physical disc without the censorship. You can even get the patch for a few of the outfits, then downpatch back to the original to still wear the Kunoichis.
@@MustPlayReviews Yea, i feel you on the multiplatform release. I just really want a sequel and I wish more people knew how good the game was so that it would continue. I'm a little worried it might not get a sequel, but supposedly the Devs have already put out a schedule which has sequels in planning so we shall see. Great vid, my guy.
they are already talking about a sequel and some dlc. plus 1 mil for a new ip is a a lot. but iget it these reviewers giving bad scores just because it has a pretty character is pathetic and dumb they did the same to days gone they gave it low scores because they didnt like the fact you played as a dude. the fact that ign gave stellar blade ia 7 is a joke and no doubt it slowed sales thats why i started my channel because these reviewers have to much influence on peoples choices with these scores. i just want to give people info on how the gameplay is what it looks like and what the story is about while pointing out the flaws and highlights ant let them decide if they want to play it.

I have completed the game and played through 3 times to 100% and see all 3 endings. I can honestly say the game was great and a breath of fresh air!

On PC: Play.
If you have a PC that can play it sure. mine couldn't plus I enjoy consoles more if play on PC I can't stop messing with settings or reshade I never get anything done 😂
why pass on console?
