This is if not the best, the most fun game I`ve played in years! The world and the mechanics of it is almost perfect! I`ve just not got the same feeling in any other game. It`s a world I want to go back to, even if I have finished the game. It is one of two games I have the platinum trophy in, just by enjoying the game. It is a shame it didn`t get a sequel!
i agree ive enjoyed since the day it came out im still irritated that the reviewers were bashing the game giving it a 5 out 10 is insane all of this stuff reviewers have been doing over the years is why i started my channel. if you havent watched one my reviews yet let me know what you think of how i break them down into four parts it helps to keep them unbiased. im still undecided if i should score them though. the letter grade i do represents its quality not whether you will have fun with it because anybody can have fun with any type of game
This video is awesome! Days Gone will remain one of my favorite games of all time. The amount of detail put into the world is mind bending. I find new things every time I play. Also I love that everything tells you a story. You could find a car with a open door with footsteps leading to a body 50 feet away, telling the player someone tried to escape freakers and died when they where running away. It really shows how hard it is to survive in the world. everything has a purpose. Days Gone is art.
Definitely was worth the platinum!
Thank you and it's one favorite platinum trophies I got
Newer games just don’t feel like this anymore. They’re few and far between. I thoroughly enjoyed playing through days gone. I played on PC.
i agree i think its a amazing game i recommend it to any one that on the fence about it
This is my favorite game I hope we get days gone 2.
I absolutely love this IP. It lives in my PS5 to this day. The world, the bike, the factions/camps have huge expansion potential. I hope Sony changes their mind and allow Bend to create a sequel- that cliffhanger ending demands it. Great video review BTW!
thank you and i agree i really want a sequel
I enjoyed this game. Always hold out hope for a sequel. Thanks for the review
im hoping we get one its earned it even if it is and ending to its story
Couldn’t agree more brother, I’ve played and obsessively completed just about every zombie game out there. But days gone… is a different gravy. Don’t know why it took me until now to play it but I’m hella glad I did. Hoping for a sequel being that the story line was left on a cliff hanger but we’ll see. No game manages to create an atmosphere like days gone. Especially with the way the dynamic music works in different fights. Goosebumps man. Smooth gameplay gripping story days gone really does have it all. I think they’re terrified to make a new one as they blew the first one so far out of the park
Yeah its really incredible what they made and I might not use review scores in the future for my reviews because of games like days gone it got terrible reviews scores and it's one the best games.ive played and then there are those games that 9s and 10s that aren't good at all they are like movies just made to a Oscar nominations. By the way do you like that thumbnail style or do you like the style with the border i use I haven't been doing this stuff long so I don't even have enough data to say which one works better and I like them both so that doesn't help
@@MustPlayReviews Yeah I get you there, all these triple A titles don’t have the kind of love poured into them that some developers do. For example look at the sorry state of call of duty these days haha. Thumbnails great bro incredibly hard to miss and straight to the point :) it’s definitely hard to rate games these days, especially one as complex and in depth as days gone. Every game ever has a few bugs and questionable design choices but out of every game I’ve played days gone is one of the most pleasantly unpleasant. If that makes sense 😝
cool video my friend!
Thanks 👍
My top 5 game of all time
its in my top 5 ps4 games and top ten all time
So I made a mistake in the video I said Midwest. All I can say is I goofed and thanks for letting me know because without your feedback on mistakes and other things I can't improve.
Didn't get this game as a pre-order or on launch, cause i didn't believe the hordes in the final product would be like that at the E3 trailer many years ago! Got it on a sale when i thought: Might aswel play it, fell in love with the game and you're right about everything!
the game just has something special about it
thanks for watching.
leave a like share and subscribe
I love this game yeah it had its bugs at launch but they got fixed and yes it’s a slow burn to start but picks up this game was done dirty and deserves a sequel! Replaying it right now
Have you tried the hardest difficulty without ng plus that changes the entire way you have to play
I actually really like the beginning dont know why people complain about it
The bad reviews that were completely biased swayed people early on. Luckily though word of mouth helped this game and it got some love from people that actually play games
I just started a second play through on my new pc. I love this game. For anyone suffering from stuttering and frame time issues I found setting fps to 90 or 120 instead of unlimited fixes the problem or at least it did for me.
interesting I don't have it on PC that some good advice for people that do thanks for posting that.
Actually now that I think about it I've noticed that with some other ue 4 titles
...and you didn't even mention the hordes!
I just finished playing The Last of Us 1 for the first time, and it's a pale shadow of this game. I don't understand why that gets so much hype. It's a corridor run with a few slightly open areas with limited combat options.
In comparison in Days Gone the whole map is a potential combat zone, and you're only safe to sleep in a few places, most of which you don't have access to until you discover them. Emerge at the wrong moment and you can be vulnerable. Slow your bike at a tight corner and a freaker can jump and knock you off your bike.
You have to have your wits about you in this game at all times.
I agree it does everything that the last of us does but bigger and more fun
Last of us is a completely different game. You can’t compare them lol… they just both have zombies/infected.
The last of us has depth and rich gameplay, and the focus is to be linear. And that may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Days gone has a good story too of course but the gameplay is focused on open world, freedom, giant hordes and just mindlessly fucking shit up.
@Styxx they are very similar in how work though I'm not talking about linear vs open world I love the first last of us I'm talking about the mechanics of how it uses supplies for crafting and upgrading and the scavenging elements other things like guns stealth, and melee are pretty equal. Both are great but I enjoy playing days gone more now than a run through the last of us
@@Styxx I played both, and found Days Gone to be a more challenging, interesting, enjoyable gaming experience, and I found the interwoven storylines and events more entertaining than The Last of Us I. LOU2 is not out on PC so I haven't played that yet.
I'm not the only person comparing them, they have very similar settings and gameplay.
The Last of Us is about the story and journey, and it’s NOT an open world game so I don’t understand how you don’t understand the hype. You’re comparing apples and oranges. No one plays Days Gone for the story, and the main character is a giant douche with a voice actor who has a habit of overacting throughout the game. It’s the best open world game I’ve ever played (as far as fun and satisfaction anyway) and The Last of Us is the best story driven action horror game I’ve ever played….the apocalypse is the only thing they have in common so why are we comparing them?
Pray to the gods for Days Gone 2! I’m posting this on every days gone video I see! 😂
nice maybe if every body can show how much they want a sequel we might get one eventually
You forgot to mention the helicopter missions...
have to leave some stuff for people to discover that twist at the end is incredible
How are you gonna give something away like his wife not actually being dead?! I just bought this game! Shit, man!
When you say shit like "firmly believes his wife is no longer alive in this world." its not exactly discreet. Not even a minute in!
I guess thats what I get for watching more videos instead of playing, but still. The fuck?
pretty much from the beginning he doesnt know if she died or not plus i kind of thought it was obvious. but i will do better not to do that im still new at this so im learning
@@MustPlayReviews It may be obvious. I haven't started it yet and it just sounds like it'd be a major plot point. If it's always kinda on the table that she might be alive and it's not some shocking revelation or game ruining information then it's not a big deal. Sorry for the assumption.
@@Finn_Anwarunya no worries like I said I'm new to this and the feedback is definitely appreciated but there a some big unexpected twist in the game hope you enjoy it
A journey with a premature end unfortunately.
Sadly
Dangerous Midwest?
i meant to say midwest oregon im still not the best at doing the vo but im getting better
midwest of oregon i csnt type either 🤣
It's ok we all make mistakes. Good video. But I would definitely want a part 2. Sony dropped the ball on this one.
we need another one itt was so much fun my brother even keeps asking when the next one is coming@@leeivy211
Last Day On Earth (LDOE) is not like Days Gone, but has many traits like Days gone, but you see your character from another angle. But LDOE shoule not be played on Iphones or phones, find a good and fast streaming-platform and try LDOE you would maybe like LDOE.
Very good video bro, Peace out from Macedonia...!
I'll look it up
