288s have destroyed airRB up here. Every single match is 4 288s, 1 264 and a fighter vs 6-7 br fighters, usually 3 of them F2Gs.
Agree, unless you are a interceptor at this battle ratting it is basically hard haunting this bombers while their escort are german plane (Which are great interceptor due to their firepower, climb and high alt speed).
It should be only one 288c and should be 16 vs 16 something like that gajing need to adres this br 5.7 all way up to 7.0 should be all team su 11 again prop fithgther or jest vs prop is not fun at all
I prefer fighting jets in the f4u 4b from what I watched from other youtubers before the cannon nerf because they use to have good enough damage to slap a enemy from a mile.
the 288s broke german teams from 5.0 and up, its the sole reason why I don't fly k4, f8 and 152s anymore because every game I have to carry 4 dead weights and in a small match, I dont even want to spawn in. guess gaijin had finally done it
yeah, they need to fix the mm, and not allow insta ques with 6 vs 6 matches.
There are so many wonderful planes at 5.7, and yes, the only plane you see is the 288... I love and hate this bracket!
Same here, the 6 vs 6 matches are the worst of course, but those bombers, jeez!
i dont fly the 109-K anymore when i returned warthunder, after matches and matches of escorting JU288 C, bombing enemy base then become useless the entire match, then i get swarmed by whoever the opponents are. 😂
F4u 4b I only flew a handful back then but I watched others playing it and it was wonderful to watch. Oh yeah my uncle in Australia said if I win a quiz that is in two days, he will buy me a PC soon. Wish me luck.

I played 5.7 last night. Arcade. All props on my team. 3, yes 3, F-80's on the other team. Thankfully they had just gotten them, so they didn't know how to use them really.

Don’t know how people can play Arcade. It’s such a shitshow.
@@SPFLDAngler Arcade is a difficult mode to learn to master, but once you do its an art. It's just as subtle as RB, just in different area's.
For me it’s about play time. I spend more time looking for an RB then flying to the combat, than I do actually playing
When I'm playing with AM-1 I LOVE those 6v6 matches. You have so much time to bomb bases, strafe ground targets and sometimes even to get some kill if you are lucky. It's great but I can see how frustrating that could be when you are skilled pilot with fighter that gets 6 and more kills in normal battle...

They fixed the ANM3’s!! It’s as good as ever now. Been getting multiple aces in it.
I’ve only recently gotten this plane, and immediately got uptiered in my first few matches due to how well I already fly previous corsairs.
Fighting jets for the first time on a prop-plane had a learning curve to it, but I just stuck to whatever opening I could find outmaneuvering as best as I could against a jet plane. Though I’m pretty sure I’ve discovered a newfound bitterness towards ju-288 bombers for how boring most of my matches turn out.

I used to love this plane when it was 5.7 and before the Ju 288 came in. At 6.0 you meet jets quite often, and I don't like flying or meeting jets.
the plane is 5.7 still, but its always in 6.0 matches due to the ju288 spawn.

Very nice plane. I've been flying it a lot lately.
this thing got a massive engine buff that pretty much equals the i225 in flight performance, it's so crazy lol. The amount of times i've come on ki83 diving onto corsairs going very slow that eventually caught up is insane. But that's also partly because the ki83 has no linear retention at all.
i like the french version of this plane because it has a way lower repair cost

In real life, the dash 4 with cannon was a monster in the Pacific. To Nerf the guns is dumb. If everyone flies it- that's because is was just simply amazing in real life. Real planes and air combat was not "balanced".

I like the 6 vs 6 matches because they are usualy germany /ita vs US/GB and bigger maps like Hürtgen, Norway or France, more room for tactic but less kills. In one match i got nearly an ACE with Spit LF MkIX sadly the match ended just the moment when i was in position too attack the last ju-288 after i cleaned up the 109s and Do-335B, wished the matches were a bit longer 45 Mins but i got 4 kills in 25 mins.
fair enough. i prefer the bigger matches.

I mainly stick to Sim in VR, and recently unlocked this plane.
Its my new favorite. Even without any of the mods unlocked, i was owning Zeros and 109s, and it knocks down bombers easy, compared to my old P51s.
And i love the handling. Its kind of squirelly at low speeds, but over 350km/hr its awesome
As far as the heating, i just use WEP to take off and get to around 500m at around 350km/hr then cruise at 90-95% most of the time, only using WEP occasionally while dogfighting
I mostly stick to energy fighting, trying to trick people into burning their energy then pounce on them. Lots of zero and 109 pilots seem to be very undisciplined

cant help you there mate, i never watch WT youtubers, so i've got no clue who's out there, especially in the other branches of the game.
The main aspect setting this beast back is the repair cost.

Yeah, and it’s rewards are not very high! I need like 3 kills to make up a death. I’m not that good.
The proposed economy changes half’s its repair cost and increases rewards! It might actually become profitable!
It’s almost 1/3 of the original repair cost now,snail finally gives.

The nerf to the AN 20mms is ridiculous. They used to be about the same effectiveness as MG151s or even a bit better (you could long range snipe with them better)...now they are terrible but MG151s are still very good. The performance of this plane is great but a huge portion of why it was so great in terms of the whole package was the firepower. This was my fav US prop plane along with the P51H before the cannon nerf, now theres a lot of other US planes I'd rank as equally enjoyable.

Yeah i feel your pain on the bomber spawn. Several matches i will spawn with all bombers and then be up against all fighters.

6.0 is an awful experience for everyone except a cohesive axis squad.
Playing the allies is the most painfully boring thing ever. It’s essentially a free win every time you hit to battle.
The 288 has to be nerfed in some capacity to discourage the blatant spam and fix the BR. Only once the 288 is nullified will the BR ever have a chance to recover a population big enough to make the MM what it should be.
yeah, agreed, aside from the mm with 288's they should just not allow the MM to start 6 vs 6 matches so quickly. Only after a 2-3 minute wait for example.
Playing 5.0 to 6.0 as axis is way worse than playing any other nation. You spawn in a fighter and you are usually the only fighter on the team, leaving you to fight 4-5 allied super props (usually at least 3 F2Gs) alone since if you are in 5.0, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 you get sucked into 6.0 matches because of how many JU288s there are.
90% of matches are small teams and as Germany you get 4 JU288s on your team, 1 DO335, and maybe a Me264. JU288s have absolutely ruined this BR.
i also think there is so many 6v6s instead of waiting for 12v12s is 75 percent of people playing 6.0 are using ju288s and they only allow 4 bombers per match
yeah but you get insta ques, so that doesnt add up, at least let the MM wait 2-3 minutes before going to 6vs6.

nah, between 1.0 and 5.0 i didnt have any trouble, 12 vs 12 or 16 vs 16. pretty much all of the time.
It truly is hell but not just 6.0 but from 5.0 all the way up to 7.0. I hate when I see a ju288c and doesn't matter weather I'm on their team and lose a 1v6 or I'm against them because I won't have those German high caliber guns to deal them easily.
yeah, its the whole range, gaijin needs to redirect the mm'er to only go to 6vs6 if there's quetimes of 5 minutes and above.

No, no errors, the 6.0 bracket is full of them ju288C's.
I feel like axis teams probably hate 288s more... Ju288 spam is helping my winrate. Haven't had too many games where I hated those planes, since they're and easy win and an easy kill if you commit yourself.
i found smaller match is more suitable for me😅
easier on the situational awareness, also makes for easier decisions.

this plane used to be my favorite plane before they nerfed the cannons so hard it made it drop a br. I would rather them return the old cannons and make it 6.3 then keep it at 5.7 with the guns now.

Theu should rework JU, they just survive every fire on wings, going 600 km, sometimes going faster than a p47 or p51
i just want them to rework the MM'er so that it only goes to 6vs6 if the quetimes go over 5 minutes or so. Like it used to be.

6 man matches against ju-288c? Now see it from the other side. We constantly get uptiers to 6.0 when using 5.0 planes, and there's only 2 fighters in our team - sometimes 1 and 1 strike.
So we get 4 enemy fighters at a higher BR - usually F2gs. Highly frustrating.
gaijin just needs to make the mm wait untill there's at least 12 vs 12. you get insta ques with 6 vs 6 these days. This should never happen. It means that its programmed to do that. The mm shouldnt be alowed to start 6 vs 6 unless ppl have been in the que for at least 3 minutes at the br.
I got real lucky yesterday when I decided to stick grind the P-51D-5 for no reason. First match there were 6 bombers and 3 fighters. Other team was all fighters. I have no friggin clue how we did it, but we won.

My only problem with this bird, at this BR is dem 20mm that are nerfffff to the hell, I use to clean up 4 x 288 in one game whith old 20mm damage model, now it is fruking Spark party , especialy HE Bullet.
I use to use AU-1 to hunt 288 but now with 20mm gajzila nerff IT is more frustrating then it use to be 😢😢😮

I have never used HE belts so I never noticed the problem until one day I decided to switch from AP. Gawd damn it’s like flying the P-51 in DCS, all sparks and flashes and no show.

The F4u4b was great but those 20 mm nerf was really horrible and they did buff the engine power but made the frame for compressible at high speeds. Defyn and renta532 said it and it puts me off away from this plane and I would much rather fly the p51h which a monster at 6.3 and is the best prop in game.

The ju288c PLAGUE is all the way from 5,0 to 7,3 for me nowadays
7.3 should be rare, as the ju288 is 6.0. I'm still under the believe that you can only uptier to 7.0 from there, or did they change that in the meantime?

I dont know I thinks I was playing 6.0 with jm and man that br is so messup there is not fun and plus I never get good luck with corsair but I can se they are strong but gajin need to fix the macht makings and I thing with should all past furm to gajin to fic 6.0 macht makings and it worst when you play Germany like tal 152 is pain in my brains 🧠 😅good video also the 20 Canon are not same and now with real shudder it be worst

I know ju 288 can kill you so easy and is even harder if keep running to base so impossible so I just 2ish that limited the ju 88c and make better the 5.7 and 6.0

Matchmaking isn't the problem at 6.0. It's the people massively playing the Ju288. And honestly, I like it. With the premium F2G-1 you can rack in massive amounts of lions. My average lies around 50k lions with better games going up to 80k or even 130k lions.Ofcourse, that is with premium on top.
the MM is the problem, because gaijin allows the MM to form 6vs6 from insta ques. So you get very fast matches, but then 6vs6. This is my problem with it. i dont mind getting a 6vs after 2-3 minutes of waiting, but its basicly insta que matches. Gaijin can steer the MM in such a way that it only allows 6vs 6 if there's no other way, after 5 minutes of waittime, like it used to be.
Impossible, Gaijin doesn't allow more than 4 bombers per team. Your presented situation would mean longer queus until a team is filled up with enough fighters. That again would mean Ju288 players would have to wait even longer to get into match. Anyway, I'm not against you, I get it. I've been playing +10 years and Gaijin has been a pain ever since they introduced the BR's and research method.

@@jengar6258 I feel that at any point in the battle it is still winnable. Typically there will be one guy left and even in a 1v6 it is much more winnable than in a 1v12. I will say I’m pretty biased as I mainly play fighters.
@@tomthebomb9474 okay, yeah its more easy to keep tabs on everyone. i prefer the 16 vs 16, or 12 vs 12, because its more chaotic. And the disciplined ordered pilot can thrive in that chaos.

@@jengar6258 Yeah, but the problem of them ruining that BR still exists even if the matches are better. They need to put them at 7.0, and rid them from ruining BR 5.7. It’s the only solution, every elbow licker in the game runs them because they are OP and easy grinders and money makers. If they didn’t make so much money off them, im pretty sure they would of done this ages ago. That’s Gaijin for you, ruin possibly the best BR if your a prop head for a little bit of money. Pisses me off.
