    I’ve had the TLR Typhon for a few weeks, one amazing machine! It handles beautifully, very fast out of the box especially on 6S. That’s my pick. I looked at the Associated cars and they just seem boring and the same. This being a hybrid of both in a way makes it my favorite! Nice video!!!

      Tlr typhon is an awesome machine 👌🏻

    Fantastic comparison bash mate, also consider the hobao hyper VS2 buggy in either rtr or better still the roller.

    Ive got the TLR over weight typhon.. No good.. low grip dust surface. Was talking to a guy at the track about a good 3s to bring weight down.. he said he tried that and the battery power starts depletion and can't hold the power as a 4s does. And you will need a 7600- 8000mah just to last 10 minute Q

    Do you find much difference / performance advantage when bashing, between slipper clutch buggy's & centre diff buggy's.

    • @kaosr.c
      @kaosr.c  Před rokem +1

      Yea much better for handling with a centre diff , better tuning ! The slipper is good in the 3s for bashing around with

    Can you notice a difference in handling between the V5 and TLR?

    • @kaosr.c
      @kaosr.c  Před rokem +2

      Yes definitely! Tlr is my pick for sure

    Which you’d prefer to walk with typhon 6s or tlr typhon on a good day

    • @kaosr.c
      @kaosr.c  Před rokem +2

      Id take the Tlr over any other version of the typhon 👍🏻

    Awesome review and sumnary. Subbed.
    I know the TA is where its at for you and you can really see how fast it is. But price to performance is the tlr the way still or is it worth it to just go all the way and get the rc8? Thinking of selling my v5 and going tlr or save and get the rc8. Love that you bash it man, dont see many guys doing that.

      @kaosr.c  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Thank mate
      Honestly you can't go wrong with the tlr either , it's such an awesome rc and imo the best Typhon ! It all depends on what you are looking for .... and yes ì don't see many ppl taking their Rc8's to run like that 😆

    I have the Kyosho inferno neo that I beat the daylights out of. 1/8 buggies are the king of bashing in my book.

    • @kaosr.c
      @kaosr.c  Před rokem

    Lovely video, mate!
    I haven't yet explored 8th scale enough, hopefully more this summer. I did learn that my Inferno Neo may not be the best and brightest after all, it's been broken many times and isn't exactly easy to drive, so I'm looking forward to getting the MP10 sorted soon. And I think I'll be getting me a plastic Typhon soon, too...
    And as for what you should get? Have you thought about a Hobao? I'm looking a lot at the VS2, it's really nice. He has one on Aussie RC Playground, the videos look pretty nice! Or maybe some Corally stuff? Or HPI could be cool, too?

      Yes i sold off my Kyosho and not really looking at getting anymore again , not really the best of Rc's imo ... i was looking at the Hobao also , looks really good ! Maybe a Radix also ... still unsure
