I use gpm front silver springs and gold rear springs with 90wt in the rear and 80wt in the front …add m2c racing pistons and your suspension makes a huge difference plus adding the aluminium bell crank and a good servo ….ive got a little extra weight on mine with the alloy hubs and top brace plus motor mount and gear cover and the m2c bottom brace to protect the bulkheads and arrma lp tyres toelinks
Hey mate, I pulled the trigger on the Max6 1650Kv combo for me Typhon V5... Was hoping for some advice.... What oils should i run in the diffs if i wanted it to stay planted when pinning it, i mainly drive on flat dirt tracks and big tarmac car park surfaces Ive got a 21T pinion for it but could go higher count?....id have to at least 500k in the center yeah? what would you recommend champ? Cheers
Good combo I was using in my Tlr 20k 50k 10k ... I love that setup for a lot of my buggies

Love my big rock, one of the tires just came unglued so needa glue that up and I got a motor fan on the way bc it just stopped working!

Hallo, Can the 4985 motor be installed plug and play? I don't mean the length, what about the circumference of the motor, does it rub on the chassis?
It fits perfectly... Just have to trim the side rail a touch

@@irish33rc9 its very similar to an Arrma and so far its going well .... Only ran it two times now but ill be getting it out more when the weather gets better here

Hows it shape up against a Typhon 6s bro? Which machine is a better build? I've got an older Hyper 7 which I really liked but it's in pieces atm waiting for new shock towers.

@kylarstern7627 it was a Max 6 .... the big beast was too powerful for it ... got warranty on it and it now runs a Max 5 🤘🏻

Hey man, gday from WA... I'm torn between these two. My offroad cars are an XRT, Mojave BLX 6s, Hobao mongrelized 4s buggy, two Maverick/HPI rally's, a HPI WR8 Subaru Flux and a bunch of smaller stuff. Im ready to pull the trigger on one of these...Which is the better more durable build? Can you help tip me either way please bro? I keep procrastinating between the 2 so hopefully you can give me the good n bad if any mate... Cheers ay.
Hey man 🤘🏻 Honestly the spark all the way for me .... It is one tough buggy out of the box and needs no upgrades ...... I have since sold off my Arrma Typhon if thats any indication
I have only once had the misfortune of an ESC emit the magic smoke. Not a pleasant experience! It is like lighting cash on fire, though maybe a bit more toxic!

The big beast chewed up the max 6 and spat it out 😆 That was a while back ... Since then it has the Max 5 which is what i should have done to start with lol

Outcast is a total blast and great for backflips , Kraton is a great all rounder .... if you prefer a more stable handling car then Kraton ....
