Not to mention that Subspace may have some cybernetic enhancements because of him and Medkit sharting on each other. He works for Blackrock too, and he created Biograft, likely to get revenge on Medkit.

If you compare their idle animatinons, biograft's idle animation is much more robotic, while hyperlaser's idle animation is similar to all of the other characters. and, again, medkit's dialogue suggests biograft is one of the first robots blackrock has created, if not THE first robot.
and while biograft's voice consists of low-pitched beeps, hyperlaser's voice is similar to the other 8 characters.
This was confirmed to be false by the lead dev, but yeah it was confirmed that Biograft is mass produced by Blackrock

If phighting ever gets a single player campaign like splatoon, there’s a 90% possibility that subspace is the final boss
All I have heard while playing the game that has a resemblance to lore was a dialogue between Biograft and Rocket talking about Rocket's father
Rocket's father is Zuka, the man who takes you ito the game lobby. Hes retired from battle I think after losing his arm
The wiki says Hyperlaser is a mercenary from Blakrock, he had a traumatic event wich caused him to loss his horns, plus the way he talks is not the same as Biograft, he even dislikes Subspace even tough he works with him
I know I am really late to say this but I just wanna say that in one of Subspace's voicelines when you kill a Biograft he says "I made you to not get killed" something like that which would mean Subspace created Biograft

Another thing: Subspace REALLY hates medkit for some reason.

@@glitchingeclipse9850 they used to be teamates because they used the unknown source for opposite reasons they got in a fight making medkit lose his right eye and they departed as sworn enemies
New Entries for lore:
Deities: Basically the overarching rulers of the Phighting universe. Seemingly existing from the beginning of time, these characters orginate from sfoth (Sword Fight on the Heights). They can have children, as shown by Banhammer's and Sword's existances, and have higher powers than pf the other phighters.
Ban Hammer: The demigod with an ironfist, Ban Hammer is the ruler of Banland being the largest threat to all wrong doers. He brings them to (sometimes unruly) justice.
Scythe: The Harvester. Affiliated with Lost Temple. She's a country serial killer, and doing it for the "family's" purposes and maybe for her own enjoyment. She leads the group consisting of The Broker and Medkit, hiding from law enforcement's radar.
The Broker: The most mysterious and mischievous of the bunch, he's also a serial killer, along with being one of the most wanted people in crossroads (along with scythe). He is one of the members of this "family" Scythe discusses.
Medkit: A medical phighter on the run. He no longer affiliates with Blackrock after a violent confrontation with the head scientist Subspace. This accident left Medkit half blind. He now is affliated to Lost Temple, albeit due to a need rather than a want. Medkit is only friends with Sword for now, and as for his group... its more of a collegue-to-collegue relationship.
Sword: The fierce demigod. He is affiliated with Lost Temple, but lives with his father (Venomshank). There is a mystery to Sword being a demigod, as he doesn't have the same physique or powers of one. He is also best friends with Rocket.
Rocket: The reckless demolitioner. After an incident in the Playground faction, he is no longer affiliated and was adopted by veteran Zuka.
Zuka: A memory that longs to be forgotten. Unfortunately, he is very well known, and Rocket has been compared to him constantly. Zuka also knows about The Broker, but only work as collegues.
Vinestaff: The afflicted blossomer. She has a curse put on her, having her arm made of wood. However, she has the power to flourish plant life. Sibu
terrible fact: if you play the skateboard class in the lobby and stand still while youre using the skateboard for about 8 hours youll unlock a desert skin for him

A few clarifications and additions, as this video is very outdated (and also inaccurate, sorry-)
- Biograft was created by Subspace as a weapon. Hyperlaser is in the same faction, and works with Subspace, but other than disliking him has no other connections with them. He is a normal mercenary who wears a helmet to cover the remains of his horns.
- Medkit was once in Blackrock as well, but deserted and joined Lost Temple. According to Broker, Lost Temple has some sort of deal to protect Medkit. Subspace also ripped out Medkit's eye either before or during his escape from Blackrock.
- While there was a major war, it being between all 4 factions I haven't heard. None of the characters mention disliking anyone except Blackrock (and Banhammer, but he isn't in a faction) and the Broker cements this by lashing out at and mocking members of Blackrock and no one else.
Zuka fought in this war on the side of Lost Temple, and lost his arm. He gained prestige as a noble warrior, as complimented by Biograft and Banhammer. He later settled down and adopted Rocket.
- Other than the wiki, I haven't found any evidence Playground has a specific conflict with Blackrock. Sword, Skateboard, and Boombox don't have any specific lines that show they dislike Blackrock itself; though Boombox and Skateboard are shown to be a little freaked out by Subspace's insanity. (Isn't everyone though -_-)
- Valk and Dom are essentially gods, hence why they're idols to the common people. Though they are more present gods, being reported friends with Boombox and cousins with Banhammer. They aren't in a faction and have no opinions on any of the factions, at least officially.
Well the story of splatoon isn't actually THAT simple
And mainly revolves around a "climate change kills us and other animals evolve" type way
To summarize the whole whole story: climate change of course gets really bad melting the ice caps and causing a great tsunami, completely decimating any mammalian(except for mr. Grizz) and basically being like the dinosaurs meteorite but without the whole actual planet destroying
Soon after the sea creatures evolve to go on land, and form into human like societies. Now because of course evolving like humans, there were human like conflicts, specifically one named "the great turf war" basically being a inkling version of the world War.
Even one of the characters in splatoon, captain cuddlefish is from that war and has a secret octoling dossier on well, octolings.
That is the most I can summarize of the lore behind the plot of splatoon

"wherever subspace is from" blackrock, medkit was originally from blackrock too, but moved elsewhere due to the confrontation with subspace that resulted in one of medkit's eyes being gone

Biograft was created by Subspace (after Subspace and Medkit creating the crystals they both use, getting into a fight about the crystals, and causing Medkit to leave Blackrock and lose his left eye) and are powered by the crystals

For the record,
1. You're using the fan wiki, use the official wiki for more accurate information.
2. "Demons" ((Every npc ((except for Ghostdeeri)) and Phighter are Demons)) spawn in one of the 4 spawn points in the 4 regions, Blackrock, The Lost Temple, Playground, and Theif's Lair, with a gear ((they naturally know how to use it)) and the intelligence and form of a 10-y/o child, The wiki doesnt go into detail about how this works with parents, though. Demons also have no need to eat or sleep, do not produce ajy waste except sweat, and have no reproductive organs ((as they reproduce through the spawn)). Also they all are born with horns lol
3. Medkit and Subspace are lore heavy, im pretty sure.
4. On the official wiki, theres a lore page for every phighter and most npcs. Would recommend checking that out and coming back with an updated video, if you'd like.

2:53, Ive been playing Phighting since early 2023 and I must say (though never playing it) the layout is pretty similar to Overwatch's. With the special abilities or 'phinisher' and the resembelence of Medkit and Mercy. I'm suprised people dont talk about the two's comparison
