My theory is really similar. I believe that the player/players are old users/robloxians that dislike the new robloxia as it's corrupt and violent due to all the war machines being created. What I think happened before the events of the game is kind of meta/4th wall break since I think the reasons the wars broke out is because two developers had really different ideas for updates or changes and got into a fight resulting in the users taking sides, splitting up.
Fun fact did you know in the third stage in combat intiation is related to touhou cause how many bullets is shooting at you, the music sounded like touhou, and the tank charge sound is from okuu nuke spellcard.

Considering how every early Roblox account had a preset of colors when made, it made me think of something about the theme of The Blue Falcons & The Red Hawks and something that could point to the player being from a 3rd group that was in hiding until they had a clue about what was going on. Redcliff and Korblox are a well-known piece of Roblox history and one thing well-known is how there was a third group that was fighting both sides before joining up with Redcliff in the fight against Korblox in one timeline and another timeline where the group was in hiding before stepping out of the shadows to take advantage of Korblox rising in power: The Darkest Age Ninjas. From gears and accessories, we know that the ninjas are capable of combat and have a great value about honor but there's thing most people forget: the fact that the ninja mask is one of the hats that is associated with noobs and old players. There's also the fact that we're able to buy the katana and ninja stars yet we don't encounter enemies that match the theme of ninjas and how the killbots at glass houses only reactivated to target us when we arrived but are said to have hunted down others indiscriminately and if that's the case how come our enemies don't get targeted as well? My theory is that we're not just playing as Noobs but as the descendants of a group based off the Darkest Age Ninjas and we're being sent to fight our way to a fortified fortress for one purpose: to slay Ryu Hoshiko who was the mastermind of the great killbot incident and after defeating Telamon at glass houses, took his place and the throne before Issuing a bounty on us as we're the only people who know his true identity.

I have two versions of theories
Version 1: We and other 5 players committed crimes that’s so unforgivable that we got entire Robloxia’s ass on us, hence why the law enforcement and military are against us, even the king himself. (However for some reason the vendor is willing to sell us weapons and upgrades, probably for the Tix)
Version 2: We’re some sort of killers sent out by someone and we’re here to eliminate any animal life form we see, or machines that block our way, hence why the law enforcement, the military and the king himself is stopping us.
(I don’t have time to read Index so if I’m wrong it’s normal)
tbh i think that some sort of protest happened, causing the war that was talked about but later after peace was restored the players come in which were probably former leader(s) of the protests and war, leading to an announcement made by the leader to attack you on sight, but a former follower (the shop guy) helps you out by giving you new items in exchange for tix (the currency of this world) and the further you progress the more they see you as a threat and thus deploy more advanced enemies up until where one of the politicians (vagabond) goes and tries to take matters into his own hands, trying to defeat you.
From what I think, The main character is a rogue trying to overthrow what goverment overthrew Telamon's status, Although fighting Vagabond (supposedly Telamon) was a mistake of some sort, the main character now knowing who Vagabond is.
the extra information at 10000 noob kills is something about how during a killbot invasion there was a noob called Timmy who fought off the killbots so some noobs are called timmy to reflect that. we don't know where the og Timmy is either

The two faction names (Red Hawks and Blue Falcons) seemed vaguely familiar, and I think I found their roblox-based origin in the classic game Jet Wars: Advanced Battle, which was also released in 2008, lining up with the date of Telamon's avatar resembling Vagabond. The two team names there are the Red Ravens and the Blue Falcons. The only other flaw here is that Jet Wars was released in September.

a personal theory of mine is that the players are greater users and up as any user lower than greater can be pulled with the grapple hook and when you grapple your teammates you are pulled towards them (when grappling greater users and up that is what happens) it could also explain why the players can dash like 2nd boss captain
(also the enemies did get more technologically advanced because level 4s boss is frickin dinosaur)
Vagabond being Telamon is also supported by the fact that Vagabond doesn't die when you defeat him: he survives and flies away instead so that is a sign they could be an important character.

the main design for the vagabond was taken from a similar game called "brickbattler", specifically the main character named swagman but with some additions such as the telamon's hat at the moment of winter 2008

I played this game one night out of curiosity and I was in a group of 4 (went down to me and one person being the last ones) and on the 3rd stage I started solo'ing the wavss until the final boss came and I was just stalling and trying to parry and get enough distance.
That the only time in the entire game I died. We defeated the boss in the end finally!
I may be a filthy coward who panics when everything's going sour but damn I sure do hate to lose
i actually really like the retro style, not only does it look cool, but it ensures my crummy pc can run the game

i think vagabond is telamon under a different alias, because he doesnt die in the fight after you beat him, he retreats. this leads me to think that he might reveal himself in the next fight you have with him? im not sure. it might be a v2 situation.
