Where is my boi Cryoblaster? The only cliff freeze tower in all of the genra! He has the second highest dps of any other cliff tower in the game and has a crap ton of range, not to mention he has priority freeze which is super usefull. Also Snowman is cool too, both form CTD btw.

there is a semi ice tower in tower heroes, and that stella, She paints drawings, and at lvl 3 she can paint a snow man that slows things down a little bit(yes i know about jester i didn't put him here cuz he's more like a luck tower)

There also another semi ice tower call jester and he can also freeze enemies at level 4 stoping them for an bit if you get lucky to get the effect

A couple other things about freezing in wtd. There's a status effect called ice shatter applied by some of the ice units like cryo and verg's ranged path along with some enemies too, when an enemy or unit with ice shatter dies it results in a huge ice explosion that damages and freezes with severity increasing based on damage (with the exception probably being cryo). There's a couple accessories that also allow other units to freeze, frostwalkers making most stationary units moving but allowing them to apply ice shatter (really only used on maps that force you to use moving only) and focused freeze allowing all units to freeze and apply ice shatter with higher damage units freezing for longer but sadly it's one of the worse accessories. There's also a thing called perma freeze but it's enemy exclusive so who cares.

i am a wtd nerd (over 150 trophies (probably 166)) and he did not include focused freeze kindler (she will freeze enemies with focused freeze which is a petty cool interaction)
edit: i forgot to say that cryomancer should go into the really good at its job as it can completely STUNLOCK blazedmancer (and blazemancer too i think (ive seen it in action only in treach stunlocking blazedmancer (his inner range wasnt activated)))

Good video! Altho one thing that made me sad is that there is no towers from Monolith Defense, a td game which ther eare 4 factions where one of them is suprinsingly a frost one, if there ever is a sequel to this, please talk about it, there are very cool freezing towers there 🙏

Cryomancer should be at A tier
Cryomancer was not meant to place only a few but alots with it's ice resistance bypass it could bypass to the point it can freeze enemy with 98% ice resistance,even if he do no damage his ice shattered effect could deal damage when enemies dies

Speaking of ice towers, Monolith Defense has an entire faction of ice towers, including some good dps units. (Factions being groups of towers that share a central theme, as well as having upgrade trees, kinda like btd.)
Tower Heroes doesn't have freeze heroes, but they have 2 heroes that can do freeze, which is Stella, her drawing called Snowman can slowdown bosses and enemies a bit. And now other hero, Jester, it's really rng, but it can freeze bosses, enemies and even summon units. There's 4 moves for freeze, freeze one of summon unit, freeze everything summon unit, freeze one of enemy or boss and now the last move freeze everything enemies and bosses. I don't remember what's the duration, but i'd say 5 seconds.
Stella from tower heroes does have a summon, the snow minion, who gives a chill effect…it slows them by not much and it deals mid damage.

I completely agree with this list (based off the towers from td games I've played) but I think frostbaster from tds should be s tier. Literally carries in anything, plus it gets lead and hidden detection very early.
Sledger is actually really good it’s just he only starts to really do anything in the mid game
9:16 it used to be the one of or the BEST tower in the game bc it’s confuse bomb literally effects bosses. sadly in a certain upd the devs removed its effect on bosses which made jester useless in the eyes of a normal player bc that is what it was used for, bosses. But yeah it’s severely underrated rn it’s still good as hell for leaks.
There technically is a freezing unit in tower heroes, the axolotl artist(Stella) can paint a Snowman drawing that gives a chill effect to an enemy, but it is so useless it would prob go to e tier if u even counted it
The fact that DD freezer can permastall a single enemy right out of the box makes him a great support tower for beating yellow for the first time

The main freezing tower in tower heroes paralyzes the enemies instead of freezing. Although there is a tower that can actually freeze the enemies, it's more of all rounder tower (it summons, cast effects, gives and takes money bqsed of rng)

Sledger is really hated on now, huh. Well while in terms of freezing capability it is not good, it's main purpose now is for its x2 damage buff from its freezing. People really overlook how good sledger still is, because technically if you place 6 sledgers in the range of your towers, you can pretty much make the best support tower in the game because it is literally a damage doubler because of its chilling effect. Also it is a boss freezer which is why it's single target and has actually pretty good damage. Otherwise fair ranking :P
Top path cryo ranger is a live saver on short maps. Its cost effeciency for freeze and DPS is just perfect for expert mode, the "Nitrogen Rounds" upgrade is underestimated a lot, the freeze rate it has for that price is insane.
Nobody uses it...

Tower Heroes has (technically) 2 towers, Jester and Stella (Jester uses random abilities both good and bad with one of them being snow) and Stella (she makes drawings with one of them acting like cryomancer)
9:08 it can not only be used in solo fallen it is also used in solo hardcore cuz of the fact that it can slow down every boss including the final boss of hardcore

I agree for all of you rankings but sledger, while it’s freezing tend to be lackluster, max sledger actually is pretty good and having multiple sledgers starts to rack up tons of damage, however it’s freeze is outclassed and range is short so it’s definitely not the best, I’d rank sledger a little higher but this video is your opinion so I respect it

There isn’t technically a freezing unit in Tower Heroes, but Stella’s snowman summon is an “ice” tower.
Tower heroes DOES have a freezing tower but its a sub-summon (stella can summon a snowy minion that does passive slowing to enemies affected with good dps)
Critical Tower Defense
Snowman - has low damage, range and firerate, gains AOE freeze on lvl 2, no hidden detection, has 1 perk which increases every stat but removes the AOE freeze
havent used this one besides spamming lvl 0 or 2
Cryolator - a high ranged tower that has ok damage but very bad firerate and is less affected by firerate buffs, has a placement limit of only 4
it also has 1 perk which increases its range even more at the cost of even worse firerate
sled is def not worse than the ones on one tier higher because sled is made to be used with at least 2 of them in 1 place, ranking it as 1 alone tower is just bad usage of the tower and if it was ranked fairly it would deffenetly be at least one tier up.
Now do fire towers (to remind you bottom path ranger and golden ranger have fire but idk if they should count)
Personally, I think that the ratings themself were pretty well informed, although I wish you went more into the range relative to the maps in the game. Mainly because I get irrationally mad when many freezing towers can barely cover their loop in the map.

sledger was nerfed so hard and its so unfair,he was probably one of the only event units to stand up to gladiator in quality and then they removed that
and a tower like that was exactly what TDS needed because there was no good freezing nor melee except an event tower you couldnt get if you joined later

Byte is the freezing tower in tower heroes, pretty much same concept but electric instead of ice
i genuinely don't get why people think Sledger is now dog water, my guy, this thing is now better than 80% of the event towers, 50% freeze for the cost of 800 is very good. and don't act like you can place down 6 of them, OR get commanders so it freezes zombies to deal 2x damage, not to mention Sledger also has a 100% to deal 2x damage to bosses. the ranking is good, but Sledger genuinely pissed me off lol.
