Certainly the two flow champions like you mentioned Kit. Very excited for the A5 X2 also, maybe next time we can discuss that compared to the rM2!
Do you guys think that if these companies dropped their prices down $200 the E-Ink Market would take off? I didn’t know these things existed or never even thought about a digital notebook before and when I discovered it I knew I had to get one. But I feel like the biggest deterrence is that big $500 price point. People will easily talk themselves out of buying one because they rationalize it as just a notebook. I love my Remarkable 2. It’s my favorite birthday gift I’ve ever received.

Do you know which one of them supports handwriting recognition in Romanian?
On a Boox device, for the screensaver I can choose transparent and the screen will show the exact document I was working on when asleep. This is great for when you have a to do list and just want to reference your checklist and not have to wake the device. Does the Supernote have this option as well?
I know the remarkable does.

I recently bought the Supernote Nomad, and it is the first time I ever try a product like this. I use it to write a lot, and I wanted to ask you, since their pens are quite expensive, if you have anything that you recommend as an alternative
That's a great question, a cheap Amazon pen and a titanium nib has a good feel. I plan on making a dedicated supernote diy pen vid too at some point
The remarkable 2 was easily my favorite e-ink notebook but the lack of a backlight just became such a handicap at home and in the office when there wasn’t enough light. Also the subscription service is just too much. I know back up is free if the note had been updated within a certain amount of time but I got fed up with older notes going out of sync if I didn’t pay. It’s really too bad. The kindle scribe is not even half as good but I’ve learned to live with it because that’s how important having a backlight and free cloud backups are. I hope remarkable can figure out how to stay in business without their expensive subscription service.
If too cheap to pay $3/month for remarkable cloud, than link it to your google drive or Dropbox or one drive for cloud backup

I think it depends on the size you want, both are fantastic devices

@RCanellas Indeed, supernote will make a similar sized A5 X2 and amazon sells the Scribe as well which is a little cheaper
Shame Ratta (Supernote) have already stopped stocking the folio for the A5x with the larger Lamy loop, so that's very bad sign as you would very well keep using the device years after a new one. Very bad
