Thanks for the video. May I know how much was it cost to ride Limited Express Hida train? Can we buy ticket on the spot at Nagoya station? Will return ticket be cheaper (the return will be on the 3rd day after spending time in Takayama)

Sorry about the late response, but nonreserved seats on the Hida are priced at JPY 5610 with an ordinary reserved seat ticket at JPY 6140 one way. I used a JR Rail Pass to take this train though
Tickets can be bought at the station on the day of, or you can book tickets in person or online a month before the day of departure of the train. I am unsure if there is a discount for booking return trips though
