Ph@tMantv I don’t know it became a recurring joke that Connery would razz Alex. The first one is with Jerry Lewis and Burt Reynolds and you’ll see Burt razzing Alex but then Sean picks up the mantle in later episodes. Alex makes a cameo in rock and roll jeopardy segment. He got the joke and he wasn’t bothered by it. It shows you that how underutilized Darrel Hammond is on SNL now.

One of the most underrated part of this sketch is how it makes fun of all game shows' celebrity specials. Because they're playing for charity, all the questions/tasks are dumbed down/made easier and they still manage to look like morons.
That was the point of every jeopardy sketch trebek(farrell) wanted to give them a chance with their blatant stupidity.

What's funny is Reese was the first host after 9-11 and Lorne actually ASKED her to use the f word during her opening monolouge to show that New York was back up and running, saying that he would willingly pay all the obscenity fines himself. Reese chose not to because she had younger fans.

Celestia was Anne Heche's supposed alterego during the manic episode she had around that time, claiming to be the second coming of Jesus.
Anne Heche passed on from her injuries in the car accident that she had last week.
The *two* car crashes were a lot of things (stupid, negligent, drug-fueled etc.) - but neither of them counts as an "accident".
Let's remember that Anne Heche "accidentally" crashed into some woman's house - which then burned down.
*Only* one to have any sympathy for is Anne Heche's *victim* (Lynne Mishele).
(The best thing about these "celebrity Jeopardy" sketches is the fact that - unlike so much else in this corrupt and ridiculous "culture" - they portray "celebrities" as the vacuous, pampered *sub-mediocrities* that *most* of them are - *especially* "actors" and "Actresses".
They get paid *millions* of dollars for (in essence) *playing pretend*.
If you're going to have sympathy for somebody, have sympathy for the *victim* - *not* the perpetrator.
10/10 would have Connerys laugh as a ringtone
may they both rest in peace, these skits were all I knew of Alex Trebek and Sean Connery for a while as a kid and now I’ll treasure them💕
