I wasn't lucky with my Yoga 7i. The writing experience is very bad, it misses a lot of lines (I have a video demonstrating it in my channel). It went for assistance twice, they changed the screen twice, I bought a new pen, and the problem persists. It also heats a lot and the fan turns on a lot. And the bottom frame between the hinges is a bit loose, when I press, it makes a cracking noise and seem it's going to open. For 2 months, I've been trying to get a refund or exchange... but Lenovo assistance won't let me. But honestly the heat and the not so solid frame don't bother me that much, in general it is a good computer for this price... if only the pen worked fine, I wouldn't complain.
I wish IBM never sold to lenovo.

I returned a Lenovo Yoga 7i machine recently because though Lenovo products are great, this machine was not up to my standards, battery life in my opinion was poor for a new machine, and I only got 4 hours--navigating, checked out a few videos and emailing, etc. But my intentions were to use the machine to its fullest, and I tested each day and got the same results. Also, the NIT on this machine was marked as 300 but the display was very dim. I compared this display with my 4-year-old HP Spectre 360 convertible, and my HP was twice as vibrant as the Yoga 7i. The processor on this machine was great, the audio was great, the keyboard was very nice, and the touchscreen was awesome. But as I mentioned, I have high standards and even with the discount, I paid a lot for this machine. It was not worth it to me to keep it.

I ordered a Flex 5, intel version. Apparently some folks claim there is a battery glitch? That when they open the lid the machine starts and freaks out about the battery? Is this a common problem?

Hi! I am planning on buying the hp envyx360 14" ryzen 5 4500u laptop. I will be mostly using it for college study purpose, entertainment and basic 1080p video editing. Should I go with the 8gb or 16 gb keeping the video editing aspect in mind? Also is this an ideal model for video editing?
Hey, maybe top Lage, but with the smaller Version you can't Upgrade the RAM later on, thus If you wanna Go for some Video edit i would recommend 16gbs

Thanks for the comparison with the necessary details. it is easy to make a decision when you buy. Based on your review, I have ordered 16GB Ram i5 11th Gen flex 5i. Unfortunately, it was cancelled due to some technical reasons from Lenovo India. Again, I have ordered a Yoga 7i with the same specs. It is very fine. I have a small issue, always a little warm on the bottom. Is it common for an i5 processor of 11th Gen? I never observed an i5 7th gen 7200u processor. Please make it clear.
If you are concerned about the heating, please install hardware monitor software www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/hwmonitor_1.28.exe? and look at the temperatures of the CPU core. They should not be in the red region

At 74 Celsius, the notebook is running fine as intended. My HP Omen, in contrast, can hit 95 degrees Celsius or slightly higher during high work load which is considered normal and operating within normal parameters according to HP.

lenovo flex 5 and asus vivobook flip 14 is very similar ...... want more information about the digitizer and stylus experience of both.
I have the ASUS Vivobook 14 and it works amazing! My only issue is it gets dirty easily (mine is the Galaxy Blue) and fingerprint marks are hard to remove. It does not come with a sleeve but the pen is so handy but it doesn't come with a case. It's so easy to use specially during seminars. I ordered the Zenbook S 13 and I was told it will delivered early November. I hope it's even more amazing than my Flip.

@@navjotkaur74810 yea i think it could be a good choice I attended 4-5 hr classes with my camera on on was doing editing at the same time and the fans were not at all hearable plus i think Lenovo provides you best keyboard as compared to others in this price this is my opinion i have 7i and my cousin has macbook pro Lenovos keyboard is better then mac which could help in coding plus Lenovo’s stylus has better responsiveness and better comfort then hp which could help in note taking
@@makarathan you should check both the laptop in an offline store i also wanted to buy hp at first but the keyboard and trackpad were disgusting as hell and the laptop didn’t looked like that it would last for years,but thats just me the ports are not a big deal for me they give you a connector with the laptop which has hdmi,usb a etc.i also have bought a small extender of type c to type a but I hardly use it
