Envy 15. I'd say the AMOLED Display is definitely a must and a one of a kind. I bought my Envy 1 1/2 months ago. Just waiting for it to come in tomorrow :)

I have the 13" OLED 4K display. Wow! Was not sure till I had it on for 5min, then went it is a must. Best display in bright room, even outside. Just too good till you see it you won't believe the difference. No angle issues, great on a window seat on a plane, even with shades open. Camera can seem dim, just make sure there is no backlighting only front lighting and you will be pleased.

A very helpful to the point review. I don’t understand why micro SD slots are included when most cameras have full size sd.
I just bought a Spectre. Beautiful powerhouse, with an outstanding 4K OLED screen, fantastic keyboard, numeric pad and touch screen, a powerful i710750H inside, pen and a case to carry it. I am so happy. Worth every buck!

@@D.M07 Beautiful, fast, powerful, fantastic display and keyboard. Has a dedicated graphic card, lots of RAM and storage, and on top of that beautiful design and quality materials. Till now i found no flaws. Highly recommended.

@@alisha5695 I bought the 15 inch because I wanted the numeric keypad. It is a beautiful powerhouse. Fast, fantastic keyboard and the 4k Amoled screen is just amazing. Battery life is not great, but charge is fast.

That’s awesome I own one myself and I love it well worth the price good quality looks amazing. I use it for photoshop and gaming and I have no complaints about the quality worth every dollar.
Just bought the 13.3 inch Spectre in the very top configuration a few months ago, then they go and update them with the 11th gen chips and a 14 inch model, AND Thunderbolt 4. 🙃

Hp has passed apple in the design department. Apple hasmt done any inovative designs in years. They just coast using the same design from years ago.

@@sy-zu4uz the laptop that is being discussed in this video has a 10th generation intel processer, the tiger lake intel processer is a 11th generation processer which has a more powerful integrated GPU, it is available now
@@sagonz0001 No, the tigerlake 11th gen processor in the 14in spectre isn't more powerful. You can google a comparison of both the processors
Imagine buying the intel envy x360.
Do yourselves a favor and buy the AMD version. Intel is just trying to hide that there is a better version of itself on the same line

Hi how is the hinge working? I saw quite some problems with hinges of envy x360 on different forums and it seems that the hp support team is not helping much.
@@derivativecovariant2341 I had mine since 2014, I have had no problems what so ever. At this point I think it's user error that the hinge would have any problem

Both are great and feel almost Apple quality. Speedy, great screen, great feel. But I already have a gaming laptop that is super powerful. I settled for a compact Yoga 6/7 size and it is great for speed and great for in bed/travel. If I didn't have the gaming laptop, the Envy would check all the boxes.

I already got an HP Spectre x360 15 with the AMOLED screen back in August to replace my 10+ year old Dell XPS desktop and now I'm looking at possibly getting the Envy 15 to replace my 10+ year old Toshiba A500 laptop that I use for work.

You forgot to mention that only the core i9 model has vapour chamber cooling. Every other reviewer does the same mistake,they don’t mention.
Are you sure. I’m looking at the product page for the spec with the i7 and the rtx2060 gpu saying it has the vapor chamber. I think it’s only in the ones with the 2060, not just the i9 version.
Great content! I’m a newer vlogger that currently uses an iPad Pro To edit all my videos through iMovie. But keep hitting storage glitches lately and considering One of these laptops or the MacBook Air…I love the look of the spectre 360 best but i keep hearing mixed reviews 😭 would you personally use the spectre 360 to video edit ? Could you talk a little bit about how long the battery lasts for both of them?
If you get a Spectre with an U-series chip (H-series chips are for performance), the battery life is amazing.
I get around 10.5 hours of continuous CZcams viewing using 4k resolution; 100% brightness; battery saver off; Wifi and Bluetooth on; and power mode on balance - best performance.
And over 14.5 hours using 1080p resolution, 50% brightness; battery saver, Wifi and Bluetooth all on; and power mode on balance - best battery life.
Every CZcamsr I've seen has only tested Spectres w/H-series chips, maxed out the settings, and then claim battery life is poor (3-6 hours).

I can't get over the maximum screen brightness of the hp envy x360 15 with the ryzen 5 in the UK... 250 nits. My laptop currently is the hp envy 13 aq0000na which has a 400 nit display, but isn't convertible or anything. The price is really attractive but I can't get over the screen..
Is 250 nits display really that bad? Want to buy hpx360 pavilion for my wife but after doing a bit of research I discovered it's also only 250 nits display.
@@tomhightower1980 My laptop before this 13.3 laptop I'm currently using was the Asus vivobook 15 X152DA and it had a 220 nit anti-glare panel. Switched it on again and it still holds up. I think if there's a matt coating, not a big deal, but with hp's glossy displays, I'm not too sure.

@@riyakale8401 I Love the Ezel Design of Acer but they it's outdated. So I switch to the Spectre just because it is an upgrade i7, 16gb ram and 512gb and 15 inch plus I love the color.

My question is how is the hinge on the envy? I bought the basic one pretty much. I just added the 512gb ssd and 16gb ram with the touchscreen. I left the gtx the same with the 1650ti.
I know it's been awhile, but how is the hinge after this long?

You should always check for laptops which could perform best and w/ high resolution display (yeap, talking abt CPUs/GPUs), the storage size, and bc this is a laptop, check for it's portability and design (if u adore aesth).
But ofc I'm broke af so I check for affordability as well lmao.

No clue why they always feel the need to make their spectre seem more premium by refusing edgeless/bezelless on Envy line. I just hate the look of the Spectre ... with a passion.

OLED screen is gorgeous but it runs a little hot on my lap sometimes.
BESTBUY had the i5 for $850 , I snagged one
I found that if you use hp command center to set the laptop to balanced , THEN UNINSTALL HP command center , then update to the latest bios , go into bios settings and set the fans to always enabled
It will run a little cooler.
Honestly though I'm returning mine possibly it just bakes my balls on my lap.
Otherwise OLED screen is a dream!!!

@@mathswithrizwansir8357 I have had mine for a out a month now, and I truly regret buying it. It's really too bad, as it is a beautiful machine. It really runs very hot in a short amount of time, and the battery literally lasts 4-5 hours at most :( Hope that helps with your decision.

I just bought the HP Pavilion x360 14" with Intel i5 10th gen CPU and 512 GB SSD for $799. Then an hour later, I saw the HP Envy x360 15.6" with AMD Ryzen 7 4700 and 512 GB SSD for the same price after Black Friday $200 discount. I immediately returned the Pavilion X360 right after it's delivered to my home. I didn't even open the box. lol. The laptop is awesome.

I got spectre for 28 days only since problem in screen. Though before error...i love all side...it really stand up among others. Returned it...got full refund...and now looking other laptop...

X360 s are unreliable. Get a regular envy or specter.
@@HarveySWSSpecter yeah I don't need 360 so I don't care about that. It's only going to stay on my desk, and I use it to watch TV and DVDs, so I want excellent display. I originally bought an Envy, but cancelled immediately when I saw that you can only get it with a glossy screen, and I want anti glare. The HP guy said it was possible, but it wasn't. I want an AMD, 15 inch. The Spectre only has one USB A port, which is a problem, since I need one just for the wireless mouse. I need to buy one this weekend before my laptop dies. I was considering an Omen, it has plenty of ports, anti glare screen, AMD, so I asked a tech guy on another site, and he said I need higher resolution. Back to square one.
@@katgirlblue I have the HP envy 15 2020. The screen is a bit glossy but the 4K version is anti-glare as advertised on their specifications page.
If you want a gorgeous display I highly recommend reordering the 4k HP Envy 15 as for it's price and power compared to most similar priced premium build laptops it is well worth it.
I think it's the 1080p version that doesn't have anti-glare...here's the model nunber of the one you're looking for: "hp envy 15 ep0008na".
