Windows 11 Headset MICROPHONE FIX 2022

In this video, I'll show you how to get windows to recognize and use your headsets built in microphone. It bothered me for a long time until I finally figured it out and I figured I'd share this with you!

I go onto Microphone array, configure, set up, and no matter what option I use, it still just uses my laptop microphone :/

Did you go through it step by step like in the video? For me configuring it through the control panel worked. Took me forever to figure out because windows options and settings tabs doesn't show that for some reason. It should give an option for which microphone you want to use.

I use Windows 11 and the external Microphone doesn't work. I used Control Panel as well and changed the icon from headphones to Microphone and picked the default driver. No change! Still no input from Microphone.

So um I have a mic built in with my headphones and when I plug it in the audio jack it does not let me talk but I can hear

my mic keeps being registered as headphones and the settings say that the mic is not plugged in, even when it is. So, I can’t configure anything because it’s being so stupid that it doesn’t even think anything is plugged in.

My mic not really working even it's enable and plug in and showing up the microphone but my mic dint hear anything on my voice but on my phone is working I already turn on anything on CZcams and still dint hear my voice

yea so, my situation is quite opposite. my microphone thats not on a headset is appearing as a headset, and it wont let me configure the thing

So my problem it seems is that my pc somehow has my bluetooth speaker set as the headset/microphone and I dont see my actual headset popping up at all under the Recording tab so I'm not sure how to fix this. Any one have a any time pls? I've been having this issue for months

Did Windows 11 fix the headset headphone microphone problem that Windows 10 has?
I gave up using a bluetooth headset (that have mic) for watching video and listen to music in stereo while being able to make calls in Google voice with Windows 10. A lot of online articles confirmed it is not possible. Hesitate to upgrade to 11 (and introduce other issues I don't need) just to try to fix the above problem.

i got a GSP 300 and im not sure what name it is on the Input for mic but ive tried the control panel and it says Headset Microphone(JBL charge 3 hands free) disconnected and i cant connect it, it stays disconnected. Is the JBL chrge3 hand free my gsp 300 mic?
