HOLY CRAP! THE LAST ONE WORKED! MY MIC SOUNDED SO QUIET AND ALL OF THE SOLUTIONS ON THE INTERNET ARE USELESS! I TRIED USING THE BOOST AND VOLUME BUT ALL OF THEM ARE AT MAX SETTINGS AND STILL QUIET! REINSTALLING THE DRIVERS LIKE THE LAST STEP WORKS! THANK YOU SO MUCH IT TOOK ME 2 DAYS!

My built-in Realtek(R) microphone only started working again when I used the Run services.msc method. Even though it was already selected as 'Automatic', I selected Disable then Automatic. I am glad to see a few different suggested methods in this video. My problem occurred shortly after a Windows update AND a MS Office update.

my mic is working but the audio is playing on my computer instead of my headphones which are plugged into the mic, it was working before but all the sudden stopped working, how do i fix this?
In the audio manager you have the option to choose the output device. Search for output device in the settings menu for windows 11
And in control panel for windows 10

Can you update high definition audios controller first or the other one? Because I updated the other one first then when I tried my mic it went on and off and on and off again, saying that I plugged and unplugged it but I didn't.
It may occur once you are done doing restart your pc .. sometimes in and out is normal process

Provide me the name of your Realtek device.
Secondly, if it’s not in Realtek, better to search with the manufacturer
If you have a Lenovo laptop, then google Realtek driver for Lenovo (model) and open Lenovo website to download the driver

1) use msi default recovery in your system to install
2) install latest drivers directly from msi website here
