Car is looking great! Shame about the gearbox 😭😭
Cheers dude, Yeah a shame... But better it happens now than on the first event lol....Should be golden now come rally north wales (3 weeks tho) lots to do again haha
Great work
Keep it up
Cheers dude, much appreciated ✌️✌️
I was under the impression
You could use the getrag
If you also use the driveshafts
Linkages
Clutch ect. From your donor car
It should just bolt to your existing engine
Your very right Jonathan however, for the mini rally challenge we are limited to only using the midlands gearbox and cars between certain dates etc as per champ rules. Otherwise yeah, I'm good to go haha! Another problem would be that the Limited slip wouldn't fit the getrag box, but unsure at this point
I’ve also read that changing the oil on the midlands box can help
They all whine a little and loose fragments that stuck to the magnet
I have a 2002 cooper project with same midland box
Hopefully have it on the road this year
I use the smith and Allan oil. Specific for the midland box

Interested to know how much damper travel you have in gravel and tarmac spec.
It's not loads on the r50 suspension, only about 50mm of droop (ish). The R53's have a more comprehensive gravel damper, so droop is much more appropriate for the gravel.
are you parting the black if so please get intouch ta
Sure am, What do you need mate?
@@jacobneal8123 were abouts are you need bonnet front bumper after brain fade
Are you keeping the anti roll bar on for gravel?
Yeah, Kept it on and connected. Belive all the minis did, was fine this weekend just gone at rally north wales.
