    I have soften the suspensions on my Mantis 8, it's not an easy task but I'm very glad I did. The ride is now a lot smoother, even in the city. By default the smallest bump on the road was unpleasant.

      Nice bro...did you just loosen the screw in between the spring? How many turns did you loosen it by? Might just do it as well 👍

    • @Enjiivideo

      @@EScooterPT4 or 5 turns, I think. Each time I tried to do more, I couldn't put the screw back. The losen spring apply to much pressure.

    Thats a nice deck. In Australia we got the plain black rubber deck.

      Thx mate...that was custom made. Mine came with the dull rubber deck as well

    Everything is good on this Kaabo 8, power, brakes (fantastic), big battery, led under the deck, good suspension combined with tubeless large tires. The negative point for me, there is no indication when we press the buttons for the turn signal or Dual/Single Motor. Also, the rear Mudguard is a little too short, I put an extension to avoid dirt and water on your back. Another point , the handlebar can't be folded, I replaced it with foldable one. I have a ride of 300 km, I got 1 flat in the rear tire. Fixed also with the same kit. On all my previous electric scooters, I had a least one air chamber and it was very frustrating when you flat often...
    Other than that, I love it, I sold my Dualtron Mini, that I hated for this Kaabo. Glad you fixed the broken stem. I guess, it's the weakness of this scooter. Maybe, you should ride carefully and avoid the borders.
    I love your deck, thanks for the link and for the video. Cheers ^^

    So I just got the new Mantis Pro SE from Voro motors which has the upgraded stem and bolt too. Do you think I should install the longer collar that you have also?

    • @EScooterPT
      @EScooterPT  Před 3 lety

      There’s no need. That clamp was designed for the models that came out with the stem that has a tendency to crack. But if it gives you peace of mind, then go for it...it definitely won’t hurt ☺️

    Nice video but not sure about the ride! Been looking at the mantis but wow! No brake fluid from factory, cracked stem! It’s really putting me off spending over 1500 for a scooter!

    • @EScooterPT
      @EScooterPT  Před 3 lety +1

      It shouldn’t put you off. Brake fluid can happen from the trip all the way from China. If you buy from your local store that won’t be an issue. I filled it up once and since then I haven’t had any problems. The stem was a manufacturing defect, which Kaabo admitted the fault, and replaced for free. New orders should all come with the upgraded version. Mine has been solid ever since

      @@EScooterPT thanks for the reply 👍
      True and it does highlight the need to check before that first ride! Definitely like the mantis as a all round ride and outside the M365 it’s one of the few scooters you can get spares and parts for.
      Keep sending it and thanks again bro 👍👍

      @@deanbryanhiponia3403 they can fit...but you’ll need to struggle quite a bit (from my experience). I just didn’t want to break the olives as I didn’t have any extras. Plus if I ever need to change the brakes for any reason, they’re already out.
