Let's be honest. The biggest concnetration of natural and athletic talent can be found in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina. Until there is a federal law that evenly distributes said talent to less favorable climes and cultures, the SEC will continue to dominate college football. I don't see such a redistribution happening. Instead, I see more and more Americans moving to the Southeast where the people are happier, the climate is balmier, the jobs are more plentiful, the fanbase is more dynamic and electric, and the way of life is generally more genteel and harmonious. In a word, we live in an ironic world.

Years ago I was in Ohio speaking with an OSU fan. LSU had just defeated Ohio State for the National Championship. I told him that LSU was a better team not because of talent nor even coaching, it was because the SEC was a much more competitive conference . "Ohio state plays maybe 2 or 3 hard games a season while SEC champs run a gambit against the best athletes, making each game a 60 minute blood bath." He agreed. I know that when Texas and Oklahoma come on board, the whole league will be lifted higher again. I want Clemson from the ACC and Ohio State from the big 10 to think about helping to create a super conference. The pride we have in the SEC comes from the fact that for the most part, the best team in the nation now has to prove it on the field and not by a consensus of sports writers who have never had the experience of getting clocked in the head. It wasn't so long ago when teams completed a season, played some bowl game and the geeks picked who they thought was the best.

As the old saying goes: Careful what you wish for. TCU should have conceded and saved everyone a lot of time and money. Worst game ever as far as a championship, playoff or bowl game, just an all around bad game. TCU had no business there. They had a less than moderate competition season, nearly lost half their games and had to fight back and didn't win many by a large margin except the cupcakes. I bet the transfer portal will be full of TCU players jumping ship. The CFP committee actually did more harm than good. Four and FIve star recruits will avoid this place like the plague now. They now realize they will never compete at the same level as other colleges. The FBS, AP Poll and CFP committees probably learned their lesson as well. They won't make that mistake again. TCU will be lucky to be ranked in the top 25 much less the top 10. TCU won't get this obvious gift again. It is terrible that records that were set all reflected negatively on TCU. I really hate it for them.

Let's be honest. The biggest concnetration of natural and athletic talent can be found in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina. Until there is a federal law that evenly distributes said talent to less favorable climes and cultures, the SEC will continue to dominate college football. I don't see such a redistribution happening. Instead, I see more and more Americans moving to the Southeast where the people are happier, the climate is balmier, the jobs are more plentiful, the fanbase is more dynamic and electric, and the way of life is generally more genteel and harmonious. In a word, we live in an ironic world.
We don't need anymore people, we're good stay where you are. There's more room out west.

Years ago I was in Ohio speaking with an OSU fan. LSU had just defeated Ohio State for the National Championship. I told him that LSU was a better team not because of talent nor even coaching, it was because the SEC was a much more competitive conference . "Ohio state plays maybe 2 or 3 hard games a season while SEC champs run a gambit against the best athletes, making each game a 60 minute blood bath." He agreed. I know that when Texas and Oklahoma come on board, the whole league will be lifted higher again. I want Clemson from the ACC and Ohio State from the big 10 to think about helping to create a super conference. The pride we have in the SEC comes from the fact that for the most part, the best team in the nation now has to prove it on the field and not by a consensus of sports writers who have never had the experience of getting clocked in the head. It wasn't so long ago when teams completed a season, played some bowl game and the geeks picked who they thought was the best.
*Correction:* Florida had no place on the same field as Georgia. Neither did Alabama. Neither did A&M, neither did 13 of the 14 SEC schools. TCU was the _only_ school that deserved to be there. Unfortunately, they played their worst game of the season and the coaches didn't adapt.

As the old saying goes: Careful what you wish for. TCU should have conceded and saved everyone a lot of time and money. Worst game ever as far as a championship, playoff or bowl game, just an all around bad game. TCU had no business there. They had a less than moderate competition season, nearly lost half their games and had to fight back and didn't win many by a large margin except the cupcakes. I bet the transfer portal will be full of TCU players jumping ship. The CFP committee actually did more harm than good. Four and FIve star recruits will avoid this place like the plague now. They now realize they will never compete at the same level as other colleges. The FBS, AP Poll and CFP committees probably learned their lesson as well. They won't make that mistake again. TCU will be lucky to be ranked in the top 25 much less the top 10. TCU won't get this obvious gift again. It is terrible that records that were set all reflected negatively on TCU. I really hate it for them.
