For me, it was so nice to see "the bench" being able to get into the game and giving them a taste of the sweetness of playing in a National Championship Game. For a recruit to know that if he works his ass off, he is likely to have the chance to play at Georgia.
They should have let Bama playoffs. No one would listen to me. TCU lost to Kansas State in the championship game. They have to do better with picking teams foe the playoffs
Many blowouts through college history in champ or defacto champ game history. Talent differences are wide and varied. Stetson is one of greatest college football players in history of sport regardless if he plays a down in league.
SEC, SEC.... Georgia fan here. The two teams that I felt could give Georgia a run for their money were Ohio State and Alabama. If, and this is the key, the quarterbacks (Bryce and CJ) played at the top of their game and Georgia was just a little off. Just reference the Alabama v Tennessee game. Hooker had an incredible game and Alabama's defense was just a bit off. Alabama would beat Tennessee six out of ten times at Tennessee and probably eight out of ten at Bama. I think Alabama would have beaten Michigan easily.
I agree. Georgia, Ohio st, and Bama were there 3 most talented teams this year. Bama had 2 losses though, and narrowly missed the playoffs behind Ohio st and Tcu. I still can't believe how Michigan dominated Ohio st. I never saw that coming.
I think I saw your channel a time or two last season but this season I really became a fan of it. Besides the fact you are a Bama fan.. I pretty much agree with all your takes 😁
Tcu was unbelievably overrated. They got lucky and won some games they probably shouldn't have. In reality they were a 3-4 loss team. The hype was just over the top all season. I never bought into it. Tcu was a fluke and this game proved it.
You've got the perfect voice for a college football sport's Commentator. It's your Southern/Middle America accent. It's got the perfect highs and lows blending into a fantastic analytical style voice that's kind of fun to listen to.
TCU has been down for four years, 5-7 last year, and with only four players on the team that had ever played in any bowl game before this year. But TCU had a long run of wins in bowl games starting in the late 90s and frequent 10-11-12 win seasons during the Patterson era, including several wins over OU and bowl wins over USC, Wisconsin, Oregon, and Michigan, among numerous others. What this year's TCU team accomplished involved more luck than most championship teams have, but mostly grit and growth of a rebuilding team that played its heart out, They will be better next year and seem to be moving to a higher level than Patterson's teams achieved, although this year's squad was probably not as good asTCU's 2010 Rose Bowl team that beat Wisconsin and the 2014 team that arguably should have gotten into the CFP and crushed Ole MIss in the Peach Bowl as bad as tonight's beat-down by Georgia. (Patterson called off the dogs and began running down the clock with conservative run plays with the score at 42-0 midway through the third quarter. Kirby kept his foot on the pedal until near the last series in the fourth quarter when time was down to the point that Georgia could take a knee and run out the clock.)
I expected ga to beat tcu, I did not expect them to blow there doors off. This is how ga should have played all season, but we all know teams get complacent but ga is that talented, I fully expect ga to be ranked #1 going into next season they are favored to win it again. Kirby smart learned at the foot of the master, the G.O.A.T. nick saban and he took what he learned and added his thing to it and this ga team is for real and will be for a long time to come. Bennett played great and has played great he deserves all he got,u gotta respect his accomplishments and the fact that in the biggest games of his life he did not fold under the pressure, he stepped up and played great. Last season I felt like Bennett just needed to not lose the games for ga, but this season he just stepped up and led that team like a pro QB and didn’t just manage the game he went out there and just beat tcu and the OSU game, he made mistakes, got away from what he does best for but when ga needed him, he played great.
😂😂😂 Matt I came here after the game before you uploaded this. The entire game all I thought about was “What is Matt gonna say?” I definitely appreciate you giving Bennett his flowers love the channel bro 💯
Dude Alabama lost to a Tennessee time that lost by 30 to South Carolina, and lost to a LSU team that got obliterated by a 5-6 Texas A&M team. They did not deserve to get in.
this actually could have been completely worse. Georgia to their credit pulled their QB and let the backup have almost the entire 4th Q. they started pulling players and subbing guys that never see the light of day on the field after halftime - and they just kept scoring. I know TCU fans are going to be miffed that they ran the score up - HOWEVER... you can't be upset that the opposing team who was stomping you, put their backups in - backups in the national championship game get to play for all it's worth... and their backups were better than TCU's starters. i think to a certain degree TCU players literally were giving up right before halftime. not all but some were definitely dogging it figuring they were getting beat... bad look. this has been one of the most lopsided college football championship games that i can remember. i can't remember any beat down being given that was worse than this? and to think - Michigan had those 2 pick sixes, on 2 occassions had coverage that was blown where the TCU receiver was standing 30 yds from anyone, or just a fluke miracle play working... coupled with the fumble at the EZ, the bad call at the goal line not to take points... the list goes on... Michigan had Murphy's Law kick in. I'm not suggesting that Georgia wouldn't have stomped Michigan... but on a regular day - it would have made for a MUCH better game... this was dog$hit.
25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, (Romans 3:25 NLT)

Way to go playoff committee! Great job! 🫣 They all said TCU earned their spot due to their record, but when are we going to admit that strength of schedule matters more? When? I know we have one more year of this BS before the 12-team playoff begins, but they’ll screw that up too by putting in a bunch of soft teams from their favorite conferences, which clearly can’t compete with the SEC. Anyway… GO VOLS!!! 😊
Tcu did enough to get a shot. Six teams legitimately belonged in the playoffs this season; with the other two being Tenn and Bama. Michigan had the schedule that was a joke (#63) and Ohio st's wasn't much better. (#55). Twelve teams is too many really as eight would be better, but at least teams just outside the top 4 that played a harder schedule will be in the playoffs after next season, so the problem of strength of schedule will be solved

Alabama lost 2 games. They deserved to missed the playoffs. END OF FUCKING DISCUSSION
If Bama had lost one less game they would have made it it in. Losing games has consequences. Woops...
Exactly why I cannot wait for the 12 team playoffs
@limitlesshoops932 you speak the truth.
@limitlesshoops932 No. Michigan is no playoff material.
Many blowouts through college history in champ or defacto champ game history. Talent differences are wide and varied. Stetson is one of greatest college football players in history of sport regardless if he plays a down in league.
Thank you Matt best CZcamsr out right now ‼️‼️
SEC, SEC....
Bama got lucky all year to they could of loss 5 other games as well see how that works.
@@Highwayanimatic674 they wouldn't have lost another 5 games. Lol think again
@@Highwayanimatic674 tcu was a fraud and last night proved it. Btw I'm not an Alabama fan but i can assure you they wouldn't have lost by 50+ points.
Hey Matt....
I was THOROUGHLY ENTERTAINED.
GO DAWGS!
Stetson Bennett absolutely deserved to be at the Heisman ceremony.
Don't send a bunch of boys to play men - Dawgs back to back titles baby !
Thanks Matt!!
Extra point was missed on purpose, Kirby called them off he said 65 sounds better than 66.
GA has zero players in the portal.
I can't believe the over hit with tcu only scoring 1 touchdown , the over was 62.5 ! Omfg horrible embarrassment by tcu.
Should’ve been a shutout
Thought-provoking analysis here. Also, nice shirt!
TCU looked like the guy in Saving Private Ryan who's pissing down his own leg in the landing craft at D day.
Alabama: 😭😢😐😂🤣
Committee got it wrong
😂😂😂 Matt I came here after the game before you uploaded this. The entire game all I thought about was “What is Matt gonna say?” I definitely appreciate you giving Bennett his flowers love the channel bro 💯
The thing I respect about Stetson is that he doesn’t have that amazing natural talent that most have, he’s worked his ass off to get where he is.
SEC. It just means more.
Not sec it’s Georgia
@@pascho1057 Sec
The mail delivered again let’s go dawgs back to back
he's so right when he says TCU ur deserved to be there but not on the same field as Georgia
They should of put Alabama in instead of tcu
Ewww! A two loss team in the CFP, hard pass🤣
@@RJCE420 after that game? Please TCU did not belong at all
@@RJCE420 4-loss SEC = undefeated in any other conference

@@troythomison9804 I couldn't agree more, them horn frogs suck and I'm glad the dogs got to eat frog legs🤣
No sir. Uga fan. Bulldogs for life. Bama should have been in the playoffs. LSU lost three games
Dude Alabama lost to a Tennessee time that lost by 30 to South Carolina, and lost to a LSU team that got obliterated by a 5-6 Texas A&M team. They did not deserve to get in.
@@jarrodskufcagaming5203 they did. The game would've been more entertaining than that game. Refs help tcu
@@jarrodskufcagaming5203 wtf are talking about Alabama didn’t get blown out! TCU did not belong.
Stetson Bennet is the most legendary college QB in history…period.
Take Joe Burrow all day every day
Just talking college, pro career trash, Matt Leinart record was ridiculous
Man as TCU Fan it sucks but we had a great season and are excited for next season. At least I got to see this team in the natty.
Was it fun in the natty
Your videos are a joy to watch. Great job sir!!
Brazil losing Germany 7-1 in rio during the World Cup was the only beating I’ve seen in sports that was more humiliating
this actually could have been completely worse.
Matt your crazy for thinking that bc we will be back in the mix again next year and having a chance to make it back to the playoffs again next season.
If Matt truly respect Stetson Bennett, then why doesn't he call him by his actual nickname?
TIME TO FOCUS ON NCAA MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BASKETBALL 💕
25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, (Romans 3:25 NLT)
Bennett faced two Heisman finalists and out played both of them. Why do none of the media "professionals " question why Duggan was at the ceremony, hell, he came in second. He played well until he faced a real team. Bennett played well against all if the best teams.
Exactly right about the 5 star recruit vs 2 or 3 star recruit. Crazy blowout
Just a quick national championship tally:
Stetson Bennett: 2
Bryce Young: 0
Caleb Williams: 0
C.J. Stroud: 0
Hendon Hooker: 0
Max Duggan: 0
D.J. Uiagalelei: 0
Bo Nix: 0
Thank you for making this video fr man I felt like u hated bro but u a real ass man for this and I respect you as well 💯go dawgs
All of my Ohio State friends are claiming the natty happened between UGA and Ohio State. It’s a fair point.
Who let Tcu in 😭
Michigan
Michigan blame them.
Alabama, USC, and Tennessee they couldn’t keep their trains on the track consistently.
This is a College Football fan with a favorite team. Big difference between him and the people who are just fans of their team. Respect bro.
I'm a Tennessee fan, and I like your blog.
Worst football in History. It felt like Oklahoma was invited back to the Playoffs.
It was a party all night in GA!! UGA is already working the playbook for next year. Back-to-back-to-back!
When people say Stetson Bennett is to old for college football my response is, Experience is the best teacher and with age comes wisdom.
The Mailman Delivers....Go Dawgs!!!
They need to build the Stetson statue!!
Top 2022 Teams - Final Poll
1. Georgia
2. Bama
3. Tennessee
4. Who cares, but LSU would beat whoever you try to put in here.
Stequavious Bennett is the most decorated QB in college football history EVER. Let that sink in!
