The hardcover books on thrift books are good from what I’ve gotten from them. And their usual no more than $5 at least the ones that I get. And you can pick what kind of condition you want them in.
Thriftbooks.com or actual thrift stores have saved my wallet hundreds of dollars!

The One Memory of Flora Banks is written by Emily Barr who I know personally because she is the mother of a boy in my year who also went to my primary school. I have known her for years and I just think it really cool that shes this massively successful author that I regularly see on the weekends.

I used too. I let a friend borrow my Harry Potter book and she lost it.😭 Had to replace it.
Dude samee! I let my friend borrow one of my favorite books and she returned it in the most unbearable condition
Same I don’t loan them cause my friends literally do not care what happens to the books they read so one used a book I loaned her as a flyswatter haven’t loaned one since

Blume Shullman Yeah I was! It’s actually a pretty common thing in the US. I can’t speak for all schools, but in mine, in your last year of high school, your class votes for a prom king and queen who are crowned at prom. My best friend and I won my senior year ☺️

I love your Harry Potter shelves, the Rick Riordan shelf, and the Invention of Hugo Cabret shelf, though that one is a standalone book. There is a another book that looks similar, which is Wonderstruck, but it's a completely separate book.
