Woah girl how do you do it? I LOVE reading but it takes me like 4-7 days to finish one book. Even when I read every second I have. I guess I’m not too fast a reader lol. Also I get so attached to the books I read, I have to read sentences, paragraphs, and pages over again to savor the words. Or sometimes, if something earth-shattering happens in the story, I throw the book down and have a moment of silence. And I get sad when I finish a book too quickly. Because most of the time, I love what I read and I’m going to miss it when it’s over. I guess I’m a really weird reader lol.

I am like that too. Sometimes I am so emotionally involved into a book that I need a while to absorb everything after finishing it. I may instantly reread my favourite parts as well.
It really depends on the book for me I guess. The more invested I am the sooner I'll finish it. I finished the after series in 4 days (theres 5 books but they're almost the size of Harry Potter books) because I absolutely loved it. But I'm on my 5th day working on the sun is also a star. I love it, but I need breaks and not as invested as I was with the after series lol

I take a 1 week to read a book, and its not because i dont enjoy reading because i LOVE to read, its just i dont like to spend all day reading, i prefer to do a little of everything. I am from Portugal and want to start reading more english books so I can improve

Honestly, this is such a chill vibe and I love it. I was actually able to watch the whole thing while also editing my novel and it was such a lovely video to have in the background.
I was in a reading slump for almost 2 weeks now and I just got back to reading a little bit at a time. This reading vlog is motivating me to finish Crooked Kingdom because I have like 140 pages left! I wish I got my reading mojo back because I usually finish one book everyday when I’m really into reading 😩
Mariam I go through weeks where I'll read 5 books per week, now I'm lucky to read one book per week. To get me out of the slump I set aside a time each day (just before bed) where I read regardless of whether I feel like it or not. Eventually you'll read a book that you'll really get into it and that'll get you out of your slump. My advice is read daily even if it's one chapter.

When you were reading in the garden I was just having constant hearteyes, because turtles are my favourite animal, purple is one of my favourite colours, and galaxies (your bookmark) are just my aesthetic! I wish everything would just look like a galaxy 💫
6 books in just shy of 24 hours is INCREDIBLE
I never ever wear makeup, unless I am going "out" (not like to the store or anything) but when I do it's mostly just mascara because I have pale eyelashes. Although I should look into how to fill in eyebrows, the outer half of mine are invisible and according to my best friend make me look like a surprised bunny.
My point is, you look great without makeup. But I get where wearing makeup for videos comes in, depending on the lighting it can wash ya out.
Marie I find thin eyebrow pencil the best for a more natural look.
Eyebrow powder (or eyeshadow if you’re a frugal queen) also gives a pretty natural look when applied correctly (preferably with an angled brush to get “hair like” strokes). 😁 Best of luck!
Wayne Goss has a great tutorial on filling in your eyebrows in a natural sort of way. :)

Also, I'm not tired of this vlog as I watched it 3 to 5 times , and I always have the same feelings . Not sure if anyone else has this problem but, I have a mother who is bilingual and she mostly reads in Spanish.
She was very interested in reading What I Lost since I described what the book was about and she has recovered from a eating disorder.
I wish more books would get translated so my mother wouldn't hit so many roadblocks. I feel bad enjoying all these books.

I just finished the first Persepolis yesterday and it was amazing. Both funnier and more heartbreaking than I had anticipated.
For audiobooks, E-books,movies, etc. I use Hoopla. It’s completely free and all you have to do is have a library card.

I really think you would make a very valuable book Editor. Your descriptive perception of what your reading, how much your able to read in such a short time, and your constructive criticism, are often more advanced then most of the adults I have seen discussing books on you-tube. It's an amazing thing your doing here on your channel, it wasn't around back in the day when I was a teen, back when MTV was just airing, your getting so many young adults to keep up with their reading and exposing them to books they may not have taken the time to read. It was very difficult in the 1980's for us young adults to find good books to read, and I'm so very happy there are an abundance of YA books now. Reading really helps us cope with reality but the stories we read become a part of us and there is beauty and strength in that unity. Best Wishes for all your future plans☺📚
Even without any makeup or doing anything to your hair you look beautiful. It was in this video that I realized how much like my daughter you look. Same beautiful skin tone, same big beautiful dark eyes, same amazing smiles, same long dark curly hair.

I used to have reading marathons all the time. In high school in my senior year, I won a reading challenge and read 213 books in just that school year alone, and that was with school, preparing for college, babysitting, band rehearsal, GUTS club, and any extra activities like creative writing club, the poetry slam, all the senior events, competitions for band, and the school dance competition, and prom, and homecoming, going to Miami for a cosplay competition. I had so much on my plate I didn't sleep a lot of the time, yet I still found the time to read all throughout the year. I would read in class after my work was done. On water breaks during band rehearsal. I would read to my little brother. I read in the hotel room and the ride to Miami, there are times where anyone could pick up a book and read. I don't think there is any excuses why someone isn't able to pick up a book at least once a week. This is inspiring though, I haven't read anything in a while and I'm bringing my favorite book to read during my lunch break at work today. Thank you

Thank you for this video. It motivated me to keep trying. Sometimes i forget what i have read after a 30-45 minute session and it makes me sad because I feel like I am not smart or I dont have a good memory. But over a half the books are second hand, it’s just crazy how you would spend like $15+ and finish the book in like a day.
