It amazes me how massive American bookshops are. I always see bookshops on vlogs which are multistorey with massive YA sections and every other section imaginable, and I'm just speechless. Even the comparatively smaller ones... are not small.
I felt like this when I went to Powell's City of Books in Portland. The store takes up an entire city block, its so massive that I didn't even know where to start looking!!

This video made me homesick for Denver! We lived there from 1999-2003 and loved it. We were in the Littleton area near Southwest Plaza mall (where I worked). The Denver area has so much to offer, I hope you're enjoying it. It's good to see you smiling and doing things you enjoyed doing again. You've been in my thoughts and prayers. Aaaw the footage in the bookstore was so nice, though! I totally get you, filming in public can be so awkward! But then I always think "do I find it weird if I see someone film themselves in public?" well... not really, why not, right? So then I'm always like well whatever, just do it!

I use playing cards as my bookmarks. I find they are the perfect size and thickness for me. Every book I shuffle the deck and use a different card. ♠️♥️♣️♦️
