I know you probably get this a lot, but The Outsiders is a really powerful and amazing book. I've heard a lot of people don't like her other books, but The Outsiders will make you cry. I really loved it. Wish you would have read it😢

You really should also read The Outsiders. It really impacted me and is one of my favorite books to this day. I think the edition you had was a special 50th edition copy too, although I might be wrong.

I haven’t read any of SE hintons other books but trust me when I say the outsiders is totally worth reading and the book is definitely 100x better then the movie

@@katiekarakulah9852 i read it YEARS ago for school but the overall is a group named the greasers and they are poorer and dress like those leather jacket and jelled backed hair guys and their "enemies" is this group of rich kids who make fun of them and from what i remember its really good and gets you hooked to the characters but i recommend reading reviews cause again i don't remember too much. (and ik my description is horrible but the book isn't only about them hating each other and is more focused on the greasers)

Ok, I would reccomend you read the Outsiders. I had to read it for school, and I would have never picked it, but I adored it. I bawled. At least see some reviews. It’s really short, at least try it.

I love how much everyone is rooting for The Outsiders. I had to read it for school four years ago and it immediately became my favourite book of all time. Nobody in my school appreciated it so I love that there are so many people who want you to read it. It’s gone now, but maybe in the future you’ll return to it. If not that’s fine too, but it really is an incredible story.

We read the outsiders last year. It was the best!! It was one of my favorite non-series books.
I am constantly unhauling books. Basically if I read a book and it’s under 4 stars I get rid of it. Or if it has no reread value - like a thriller that once I know the twist I will never be able to read it again.

*me gasps really loud when you unhaul the Outsiders* I haven't read any other S. E. Hinton books, but I definitely recommend reading Outsiders, it was honestly such a great book.

Noooooooo The Bone Season is my favorite series lol I'm sad more people haven't hype it up for you, but tbh it's 7 book series and she takes a hot minute to get each book out and only 3 are out so far, so it's probably better to get invested later anyway

I went through like a huge unhauling when I first started Booktube for my read shelf and then did it again for my TBR when I did a vlog. I think I usually do it when I have to reorganize the shelf or bookcase my books go on.

I really like that you actually filmed yourself looking through your shelves and choosing what to unhaul. It just made the video more interesting to watch than someone sitting down and talking. Now I want to go unhaul some of my books.
I should do this because at my school they give us free books that we can pick from, and usually the books are like sequels or books I've never heard of, but we have to get one, so I end up grabbing a book I never ever plan on reading.
I get books from the library (physical and online) and then only buy books that I absolutely adore and will read again. I don't have publishers sending me stuff otherwise I'd be unhauling like craaazy. Cant imagine! I have some books I bought really cheap and when the intrest runs out I get rid of them. I like having a small intimate shelf of books I love dearly so it just makes me smile verytime I look at it!

As soon as I am finished reading a book I don't like I get rid of it. If it's a book I DNF, I definitely get rid of it as soon as possible. I think I shouldn't waste good shelf space with a book I dislike or refuse to complete. I really liked this particular challenge. I was watching the video and unhauling at the same time lol!

Unhauling books is so therapeutic. Like getting rid of unwanted baggage. I got rid of a bunch of mine and gave them to my library...someone else can love them.
I recently unhauled a ton of books. Books that I just don't have interest in anymore. My tbr shelf is definitely a bit more reasonable. I really enjoyed watching this video!

If you ever do want to I would recommend going back and reading the outsiders because it is not like other SE Hinton books. I don’t like her books either but that is one of my favorites

I recently got rid of almost 50 books and it's so good to see free space on my bookshelves for once ;) I gave most of them to my friends but I am donating some to my library too. Now I will keep books that I love dearly and the rest I will just get from the library, no more pointless buying ;)

I HIGHLY recommend you try out The Hearts We Sold. I had no interest in reading it, but one day I just decided to go for it. I am so glad I did. The synopsis isn't very promising, but I really think you'd like it. I was a complete mess when I finished it. Great video as always!

I keep a few tote bags next to my shelves and when I read a book I don't want to keep, I put it in a bag. Every couple months I'll take 2 or 3 bags to my fave used bookstore. Before I go, I like to look at my shelves and take anything off I just am not feeling anymore.
You got rid of The Outsiders??? I loved that book! (And that's kind of a big deal for me because I'm notorious for hating all books I'm forced to read in English class)! And the cover is so gorgeous!! Much prettier than the copy I have
