I always think seeing rainbow shelves is proof that the booktuber in question doesn't actually read. Because why would you split up series? If you only care about aesthetic and aren't gonna read them.

No hate on your organization, but I cannot organize by color. I organize by type (YA, series, classics, Holocaust literature, my Norton Anthologies collection, plays, Author, World literature, African American Literature, and my TBR). I have a huge collection of books that span three book cases in my apartment (stuffed full to capacity), plus some back home at my parents’ house. Yes, I am a book addict.
One of my old colleagues’ daughter is Danielle L Jensen who wrote Stolen Songbird😃Wonderful book/trilogy!!💜

Your bookshelves are just bookshelf goals. I can't collect large amounts of books because I'm a military spouse and end up having to give up most of my collection every time we move. I'll live my dreams of a huge library vicariously through others. Although I have accumulated an impressive digital library, realizing that this is the only way I can keep my books permanently.

That's cool that you own a couple antiquarian copies of classics, I personally collect classics in antiquarian editions. My oldest one is from 1754. I want to buy a first American printing of it, I know a book dealer who has one, but its a bit expensive, so I have yer to gather the funds needed to purchase it.
Oh okay, the reason I thought they were leather bound was because some of the ones like Wuthering Heights, and Dracula were once in a set I had, and it said it was leather bound on the side.

Sofia thank god someone else feels the same😂 it just seemed... insensitive to me? Like he was using the historical events too lightly? It’s weird, I don’t know how to explain it but it made me uncomfortable. Plus I hated the main character, aka the girl who can do absolutely everything without any consequences😂 (and some of the descriptions made me cringe so hard)

Also th "flexie bound" classics are actually leather bound
The leather bound ones are the children's and the original collectible classics collection. The other ones are referred to as flexibound/flexi-format 😊
