You just met The King Of Rock! Listen to the Beach boys "Fun fun fun", The Rolling Stones Keith Richard play Chucks licks. He wrote sang his own and didn't have any bad ones.
He worked till he was 90 before he passed. RIP King Berry - - Elvis was a great Singer that the girls loved. Chuck Berry was like Keith Richards as they now call him. Pure Rock "N' Roll.

This song is older than I am, by a year and 4 days....Not to scold you, just to let you know, since you could probably look this things up before your recording. Yes, it's an incredible song, and one of the reasons why I prefer "Rock and Roll" to "Rock"...

Chuck Berry (and Little Richard that you mentioned Tutti Fruitti) were very early pioneers of Rock N Roll. Chuck Berry has many songs that influenced everybody who came after him. Some of his songs to react to: Roll Over Beethoven; Rock And Roll Music; You Never Can Tell; No Particular Place To Go; Maybelline; Memphis Tennessee; Nadine (Is It You); Back In The USA; Route 66

The Beatles and The Beach Boys covered Chuck Berry songs. Chuck Berry music was featured in the movie Back To The Future. Another Chuck Berry song was featured in the famous dancing scene from the movie Pulp Fiction. Chuck Berry was one of the first performers inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame. AC/DC imitates a Chuck Berry move called The Duck Walk (while playing guitar they hop on one foot while kicking the other foot forward - Marty McFly also does this move in Back To The Future). Rolling Stone magazine ranks Chuck Berry as the #6 best guitarist of all time.

Rock and Roll was being invented, right there, by Buck Cherry. Iconic guitar sound and dance. Dance while you solo. Consider "Roll Over Beethoven." The time had come for Ludwig to spin in his grave!
