    Thanks for the kind words Marcel! This is Faas speaking, always fun to see a park mentioned that I have built on. I want to mention the digging people aren't mechanics fixing a leak, but burglars digging a tunnel preparing a heist! The summer scene is not tourists, but investigators investigating the crime!

      I can't imagine starting a project of this scope either, that's why I wasn't involved in all the copying and trickery but helped out later on in the process. All credits go to the other two guys for the tricks.

    Before revealing the tricks, I was thinking each object has 4 images for 4 viewing angles and for all the objects used, all are customized and first image is spring, second is summer, etc.

      My guess was similar, some kind of illusion where each side of an object is painted different colors so that depending how you look, they line up to form different images.

      I didn't either! I was really surprised at first but upon thinking about it more, the way they did it is actually SIGNIFICANTLY easier than any of the other potential methods.

    Nothing has made me feel more inadequate at the game than this park. Utterly stunning. It warms my heart to see the incredible creations people can make in a game of this age. Video games are art and a medium.

      Well said! I wonder if there are still people out there who genuinely believe that video games cannot be art. It was a dumb argument the first time it was said (although I suppose I understand how one might say that looking at an atari game), but at this point it's just blatantly untrue on like a dozen different levels!

    The park's name also fits pretty well. Winkelheim translates to Angle Home from German.

      The people taking photos are custom scenery items (yes, not even all the peeps are real), the kite is a 1-car multidimension train going back and forth, and the volleyball is a custom train going back and forth.

    Wow, this is simpler than I expected and that makes it much more genius! It's like when you see a movie and it has practical effects, you can do anything with CGI but it's the practical effects that are the most impressive.

    I was intrigued, then baffled, then amazed, then humbled beyond words so I just kept exclaiming "NO!" in sheer terror at the amount of work this took... I feel an anxiety attack just imagining how I would even begin a project this complex. The most stunningly advanced use of RCT as an art medium I have seen yet. Absolute art, without sarcasm or exaggeration, this to me is on the level of a masterpiece that should be in a museum somehow...

    "Winkelheim" is also a clever name. "Winkel" is German for angle, while "Heim" is a suffix for a town. So this map thats changing by rotating is named Angle Town, or Anglevile.

    I can't believe I only just found out about these custom scenery parks. I always loved pixel art and loved RCT. Now 20 years after player RCT for the first time, I find out that these amazing "where-is-Waldo-like" digital pieces of art exist. I know what I will be doing the upcoming days. Thanks Marcel

    I'd like to request a Ride Overview for the Looping Coaster. I confess that I really like a bunch of the premade coasters 'cause they're really compact/cheap/popular, like the Stingray, Bumble Bee, and Hedgehog. I like putting the Stingray and Cobra (Corkscrew) together because they're really cheap and profitable, and it's also a car joke.

    ... I saw the explanation and I still dont get it entirely. But Im really happy that these games did capture the imagination of some truly talented and crazy people and that we get to see the result, even if it took 20 years.
    The park might have been possible in 2002 but the showcase wouldnt have been, at least not outside of some very dedicated forums.

      There is a plugin that can delete every instance of a certain scenery item on the map, which turned that massive job into just a few clicks.
