Well it is not hard to extract the sprites from the game, and they already exist in isometric view.

Mario's castle from SML2 has a different design compared to Peach's, and never actually appeared in a Mario Kart game.
This is honestly one of the coolest things I’ve seen done in this game
Now you might expect the average person to say "Hey woah, you mean Peach's castle?" But Mario DID IN FACT have a castle in the Mario land series (which would go on to become Wario land), so while Marcel may have misspoken, he whoopsed right into something equally valid
It's not that the tracks are there. But there's also life outside of the tracks. Shops and stalls, walking paths, other rides, and incredible scenery. This is a masterpiece.
Better download this track now before Nintendo threatens legal action.

Not only is this park beautiful beyond words, now I know how Marcel pronounces "bobomb" and "thwomp" which is beautiful in its own regard.
This is insanely amazing. The attention to basic details but...the information about each track. Just..so much amazing things.
Goes to show, this game, even being over 20 years old, still has a very active if not thriving community behind it.
That's the most detailed map save I've ever seen.
Makes me wish I had kept on gaming RCT2. 😢. Stopped when I had kids and got busy with other pursuits. Now I enjoy YT and videos about RCT2. 😆

yeah, it would have been awesome, and if you come in with a party, you could sign up for the Cup Tour, choose a cup and go to the specific go karts for each track. Now you can keep track of who is in the lead, maybe after the fourth race the winner of the "cup" could get a special Lego Mario Cup to build (it would be for sale as well, but would have to pay extra for customization, since the cup tour would include that in it's price)

Man this is one hell of the map, whoever made this is a genius of design.
this is so incredibly well made. no wonder it took a year to complete. my favourite is Shy Guy Falls, the whole Area looks god damn beautiful and the Minetrain Coaster is the cherry on top.

Post-video comment: I am beyond amazed at this legendary masterpiece. Can you just imagine that this is an actual park? like imagine Universal Studios Japan Mario World but there are 16 iconic go-kart tracks where you can ride to your hearts content, without the danger of the obstacles?
And if you wanted more than just go-karts, there are other rides that you can ride on?
And the best of all, some of the "game assets" are actually rides that are set to test mode, and have all their entrances and exits (and some even having their entire track) hidden to become part of the scenery? Like the flying helicopter in Yoshi's Circuit, the flying space train and rocket that is actually the Rocket Car from Steel Mini Roller Coaster, the lone Virgina Reel that is used as the ring of Saturn, and the ENTIRE CUT-OUT of the mine where the creator has put a Lift, Ferris Wheel and a Wooden Wild Mouse Roller Coaster ride as scenery for a mine cart/wheel/lift?
This damn game has been out for decades, but the creativity people have in this game is beyond anything. I am very certain that in the near future, RCT could might as well become the new Minecraft sandbox.
This is a literal work of art. Imagine it being made in Planet Coaster.

Wow, I'm seriously blown away by this recreation of Mario Kart in Rollercoaster Tycoon 2! Like, seriously, it's incredible. The attention to detail is just insane. You can really tell that whoever made this put their heart and soul into it. I mean, the surroundings are just so spot-on, and the twists and turns are perfectly timed. I felt like I was actually racing through the world of Mario Kart! And the sound effects and music just took it to another level. It's not just a recreation, it's a work of art. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing rollercoaster with us!

I just really love as well that this park isn't just dimmed down to the kart tracks themselves but there's so much other things to do like riding rollercoasters, the merry go rounds, sky drops and whatnot, it's not just a park just for kart racing, it's a whole amusement park

Whilst I use to try and recreate the more simpler tracks when I was younger, this map goes above and beyond.

I'm also amazed by the manipulation of mods to do things a game engine is not normally able to do. Who would of thought you would able to recreate Mario Cart Circuits in RCT2!

I don't normally like fantasy style parks like this. The game's more interesting to me when it's played as intended. But this is incredible. 10/10.

I do have the question block assets in my OpenRCT2, but I never have the patience to make any Mario kart tracks cause there’s SOOO many things you can do in OpenRCT2, but seeing the inspiration made this video worth my time to watch!🏎🍄
